Shanks FX is here to show you how to build Kylo Ren’s LEGO TIE Fighter using nothing but the power of the force. And some clever stop motion if we’re honest. Seeing the Ravager being built in this way is oddly satisfying. The sound effects really make all of the difference. Very cool.
This is a crazy and super fun fan-made stop motion short that stars the titular alien, predator, and also Boba Fett and a Sandtrooper. It all begins with Boba Fett and the Sandtrooper out for a ride in the ’60s Batmobile when they’re attacked by Xenomorphs. I’ll leave it for you tofind out what happens next. I’ll just say that it is both crazy and awesome.

The 1938 radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds sent listeners everywhere into a panic. This clip is from what would have likely been an amazing epic sci-fi film. Sadly,a film that never was.
Stop-motion animation master Harryhausen brought Wells’ vision to life. A slimy Martian with bulging eyes, a slobbering beaked mouth and “Gorgon groups of tentacles”. You can check it out in this 16 mm test reel. You can see right away that this would have been another Ray Harryhausen masterpiece. Sadly the project went in another direction. Oh, if only we could have seen Ray’s vision.

Ghostbusters was a pretty groundbreaking movie, considering the fact that it was a comedy. Years later we still can’t get enough of it. I don’t hold out much hope that the new rebooted movie will be anywhere nearly as good as the original, but that’s okay, because we have cool movies like this stop-motion animation from Bodega Studios.
It features only a single Ghostbuster. Venkman. Uh, make that Venkmallow. Slimer also makes an appearance and you’ll never guess who is playing him. This short is awesome, but the problem is, now that I’ve seen it, I want more. When can I see more marshmallow adventures?
