Star Trek Spock and 1964 Buick Riviera Hot Wheels Car

Star Trek fans might remember back in the early days of the original series when Leonard Nimoy celebrated the success of the show by buying a Buick Riviera. There’s a famous picture of Nimoy leaning against the car on the studio backlot. Well, this scene is now a new Hot Wheels toy created to celebrate Star Trek’s 50th anniversary.

It will be available soon from MattyCollector.com for $20. You don’t see this kind of collectible everyday. Leonard Nimoy. Dressed as Spock. Leaning against his new car. On the studio backlot. It’s weird, but I like it.

This detailed model captures the organic nature of the Derelict ship and it looks like they got all of the details just right. Batman 1966 Hot Rod Batmobile Statue

Out of all of the Batmobiles that have existed over the years, the original is still the most iconic. Out of all of Batman’s rides, this one comes the closest to being an actual Hot Rod from the era. This statue celebrates the ’66 Batmobile in a playful style full of motion and color. Love it.

LEGO Xenomorph Is A Highly Detailed Nightmare

This LEGO Xenomorph is the stuff of LEGO nightmares. Look at all of that stunning detail. It even has acid drool on the chin. It is from Spanish LEGO builders the Arvo Brothers. They really are a dynamic duo. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could top this version using just LEGO pieces.

If you want to make one yourself, they have a book detailing the process here. It always amazes me that people can creat such amazing sculptures out of LEGO.

Legends Of Star Trek Character Sculpture Collection

The Legends Of Star Trek Character Sculpture Collection is a series of beautiful statues that begins with Captain James T. Kirk. Kirk is depicted on the bridge with phaser in hand, with classic scenes from the series above the control panel. Issue two is Mr. Spock and after that you can add even more of the crew, like Bones, Uhura, Scotty and more. I think my favorite part of these statues are the scenes in the background. They really complete the piece nicely.

Star Wars African Totem C-3PO

Artist Evgeny Rusolovski created this awesome Star Wars African Totem version of C-3PO. This is certainly one of the most unique takes on the droid that I have seen in a while. I would love to see what the artist could do with other Star Wars characters as totems.

Totem or no totem, never tell me the odds. I bet this is what an Ewok created statue would look like by the time they have made temples and worshiped 3PO for many years.

Hot Toys Life-Size Batman v Superman Armored Batman Figure

They already make the most realistic 12-inch action figures anywhere, but that isn’t enough, now Hot Toys has announced that they will be making a new scale of figure. Life-sized action figures. That’s right. What you see here is a 7-foot, 2-inch figure. Next they will be cloning the actors and offering living life-sized figures. Give them a few decades.

The eyes light up, it has a BvS logo base and as usual it is incredibly detailed. We don’t know when Hot Toys will release this huge figure,but the price will be out of my reach, I know that much.

Alien Xenomorph Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

Sideshow Collectibles does it again with this awesome Alien Xenomorph Statue. It is the Alien Internecivus raptus Statue. That means ‘murderous thief,’ and it is one of the few official names recorded for the xenomorph species. This Xenomorph has an elegant pose as it is ascending from a surreal monochromatic chamber, with its limbs crossed and its barbed tail coiled. It is so detailed that it is horrifying.

It stands 22″ tall x 8.5″ wide x 8″ long. It will be large and in charge in your collection.
