This stained glass style art is really blowing us away. Especially the Doctor Who versions. They come from Louisiana-based artist and art teacher Mandie Manzano. They are simply beautiful and visually stunning. Dream-like even. The colors are just so vibrant. It’s as if these stained glass pieces became watercolors as the sun is shining through.
They really served up the ultimate geek trifecta with this stained glass inspired piece of art. Shaped like the triforce from Legend of Zelda, this illustration features a trio of nerdiness. Star Wars, Legend of Zelda and Lord of the Rings. It is the work of Brazilian artist Vinícius Cavalcanti Marques. Show of hands, how many of you grew up with this trinity of awesomeness?
I love how bright and colorful these stained glass illustrations are. Not to mention geeky. 0ShardsofColor0 offers all kinds of amazing stained glass inspired art. These Sci-Fi and Superhero illustrations below are some of our favorites. I just love that Star Trek piece with the ship above and the crew below on transporter pads. These are all reasonably priced and would look great anywhere in your home.
These 4th and 10th Doctor Stained Glass Panels from Etsy seller glassola would look perfect in any TARDIS. Or if you don’t have a TARDIS, which is the case with most of us mere humans, they will look great in your house.
They measure 12″ x 16″ and make a great gift for any fan of Doctor Who. I would get them both and put them in the same room. Baker and Tennant meet at last!
Etsy seller FayProductions makes all kinds of prints that imitate the look of stained glass. They are pretty striking and look just like the real thing. Just put them on your windows and you have some instant stained glass fit for a geek church or comic book temple.
