Trailer for Luc Besson’s Valerian

valerian-featured
I have to say that this trailer for Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looks completely insane. In a good way. It looks like it has everything that the Fifth Element offered and loads more. It is based on a French comic book series written by Pierre Christin with art by Jean-Claude Mézières. This movie just looks amazing. I’m going to have to pick up those comics now and check them out. I can’t wait to see this one.

They are going to look pretty fantastic on your Christmas tree. Or you can make a year-round Doctor Who tree. Wait, Daleks don’t eat cheese! And why is the Doctor travelling in a hamster wheel that is bigger on the inside?

First Trailer For Passengers

Chris Pratt and Jennifer lawrence are about to have an awesome romance/adventure in the upcoming Passengers. It’s about two people who mysteriously wake up from hibernation on a spaceship way too early only to face a disaster soon after. The movie actually looks pretty fun and Pratt and Lawrence look like they work great together. They have been trying to make this movie for years and soon we will finally get a chance to see it.

Beautiful SciFi Movie Posters By Craig Drake

Beautiful SciFi Movie Posters By Craig Drake
We’re blown away by these awesome scifi posters from Craig Drake. Recently, the artist had his third solo show with art from a whole bunch of scifi properties. It sounds like it was quite the event. The entrance had themed drinks and lighting that matched Ex Machina’s dance scene. Inside, many of the posters were illuminated with LEDs. There was even a real 1966 Batmobile. Now I’m sorry I missed it, but at least we can admire his amazing art.

The Bobaskull Project
Bobaskull is from sculptor Samuel Boulesteix and designer P. Kenyo. They are limited to 194 +5 Artist proofs. Bobaskull comes in 6 Material colors and is now available here. Pretty cool. We’ve seen plenty of Star Wars inspired art and toys, but there’s something about stuff like this that is so fresh and interesting.
