HBO premiered the first trailer of season two of Westworld over the weekend and big surprise, the park is in trouble. Basically, there are bodies everywhere, and it looks like the hosts aim to drop more human bodies. The best part is Dolores shooting guests from horseback. This is going to be good.

Here is the Comic-Con trailer for Star Trek: Discovery. It is definitely the most intense trailer for the series yet, but that doesn’t mean that fan reaction isn’t mixed. The show takes place about 10 years before the original crew and there is a conflict between Starfleet and Klingons. There is a lot of action here and again, we don’t get a look at the main ship, which is very concerning.
Scott Park has illustrated an amazing poster that has all of the moments that make up RoboCop. It was created for Gallery 1988’s “30 Years Later” show, which opens July 21. Park knew right away that Robocop was the theme he wanted to do. I’d buy that for a dollar.
Adult Swim has released a new promo for Rick and Morty called “Exquisite Corpse.” The thing is, it is crazy. Crazier than anything you have seen from Rick and Morty in awhile. It is insane. We love it. It showcases the unique animation styles of 22 artists. I can’t wait for this show to come back. All-new episodes will start on July 30th.
Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve, and co-produced by Ridley Scott. This sequel to the 1982 Blade Runner film is looking very promising. This new trailer follows Ryan Gosling as he tracks down Harrison Ford. I can’t wait for this movie. Blade Runner 2049 will hit theaters on October 6th, 2017.
Geeks are often divided by Star Wars vs. Star Trek. I never understood that. Why can’t you like both? Maybe this will help. Many actors don’t see a problem appearing in both franchises. In 2010, Chinese farmer Yu Zhilin and his son Yu Lingyun opened up their own metalworking shop in the country’s Hunan Province. Inspired by the futuristic robots from the movie “Transformers,” the pair began fashioning original statues from scrap metal. Their first design took about a month and a half to build, but they’ve since created an impressive array of statues, giving new life to discarded car parts along the way. It’s not just the success of their new business that makes this father-son duo happy; the craft itself has brought them closer together.
This weekend is the 35th anniversary of Blade Runner, and with the new movie coming our way soon, let’s celebrate with a new behind-the-scenes featurette about the sequel. It features much of the cast and crew, showing off the world of 2049 Los Angeles, as well as how Blade Runner 2049 is trying to set itself apart from the original. The previous trailer didn’t have me as excited as I wanted, but this featurette really has me wanting to see the movie. It doesn’t reveal much about the plot, but it really shines a light on the world building that took place to make this film happen.
Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6.

CBS All Access has announced that Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on Sunday, September, 24th. They even released a motion poster that you can check out below. It features the U.S.S. Discovery in flight.
Other news is that the 15-episode first season will be split into two. The first eight episodes will air on Sundays from September 24th through November 5th. The season then will resume in January 2018. I’m trying to keep an open mind about this show, but they make it hard. It just seems like they are failing on every level here. BUT, fingers crossed that somehow it is a good Star Trek. I can’t see how, but one can only hope.
