It’s the ultimate galactic showdown. Captain Kirk vs. Gorn. It is going to be an all out karate smack down spectacular. Display this Star Trek Kirk vs. Gorn Tin Sign and you can say you were there. Or that you at least watched it on TV. Kirk is faster, but the Gorn is stronger. Who will reign supreme?
Your favorite classic board game just got a new twist. Those damn dirty apes have finally done it. They have taken over Monopoly. Planet Of The Apes Monopoly is completely retro with custom illustrated art by Dave Perillo with a vintage theme from the classic 1968 science fiction film.
To help introduce its 2017 Fall and Winter fashion campaign, Gucci has created a short film inspired by the retro sci-fi movies and TV. I’m no fan of fashion myself, but this is a pretty awesome video. This is a great way for them to get some attention for their new campaign. It is just plain fun.
Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve, and co-produced by Ridley Scott. This sequel to the 1982 Blade Runner film is looking very promising. This new trailer follows Ryan Gosling as he tracks down Harrison Ford. I can’t wait for this movie. Blade Runner 2049 will hit theaters on October 6th, 2017.
This weekend is the 35th anniversary of Blade Runner, and with the new movie coming our way soon, let’s celebrate with a new behind-the-scenes featurette about the sequel. It features much of the cast and crew, showing off the world of 2049 Los Angeles, as well as how Blade Runner 2049 is trying to set itself apart from the original. The previous trailer didn’t have me as excited as I wanted, but this featurette really has me wanting to see the movie. It doesn’t reveal much about the plot, but it really shines a light on the world building that took place to make this film happen.
Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6.

This Star Trek Klingon Clock is a great clock for any warrior. There is much honor in a clock like this. And if today is a good day to die, you can choose the time. It would look right at home on the bridge of a Klingon Bird of Prey or in your home. Get one for yourself or give one as a gift to another warrior who has proven himself in battle.
We have waited long enough. Now we finally have a trailer for Star Trek: Discovery. I really like what I see, but at the same time, in a way, it doesn’t feel like Star Trek. That may be a good thing. Time will tell. This is a great first trailer in any event and I want to see more. A couple of things: The Klingons are… Strange. What’s with the lens flares? Between that and other visual cues, this feels like New-Trek. Hmmmm. The level of technology and polished look of everything seems off for just 10 years before Kirk and Crew. Still, I’ll see where they take things before I complain too loudly.
