If you want to look like a modern woman with a Starfleet career, MAC Cosmetics can help with that. Maybe you want Uhura’s eyeliner or Seven of Nine’s blush. Unless you want to look like Quark’s mother, this new makeup line can help. MAC is celebrating Star Trek’s 50th anniversary with an initial 25-piece collection based on some of the most prominent ladies of Star Trek.

They start with Voyager’s Seven of Nine, Next Generation’s Counselor Deanna Troi, and from the classic 1960’s series, Lt. Uhura and Vina, and the green skinned Orion slave girl. Take your makeup to the final frontier!

Quantum Leap Ziggy Handset Necklace

Quantum Leap Ziggy Handset Necklace
I don’t know about you, but I love Quantum Leap. Fans of the time traveling show will instantly recognize the Ziggy handset that Al constantly used to call up the odds. Usually he had to give it a good hit or two to get it to work.

Well, now you can wear the Ziggy handset as a fashion accessory. This Quantum Leap Ziggy Handset Necklace is a mini version that captures the original perfectly. It’s pretty adorable. Use it to communicate with Ziggy and give Sam the info so that one day…he can find his way home.

Spaceballs Custom Action Figure

Spaceballs Custom Action Figure
Remember that scene in spaceballs where Dark Helmet was playing with action figures? Well, someone went ahead and made these figures for real and they are pretty awesome. I just wish I could buy these. This amazing set was made by Blayne Scott for a friend. I know. I wish I had a friend like Blayne too. They were sculpted over the course of 6 months using pieces of Star Wars figures and of course lots of sculpting techniques.

You can check out a whole gallery of images here. I can only hope that someone makes these for the masses. I love oddball figures like this.

Iron Man Alien Xenomorph Action Figure Mashup

Iron Man Alien Xenomorph Action Figure Mashup
In space no one can hear your thrusters scream. This amazing custom-made Iron Man and Alien Xenomorph mashup was created by the Samkwok workshop. They used Hot Toys’ 1/4 Iron Man Mark 43 figure and added all of the awesome xenomorph details. This figure is just a stunning creation. If I were Hot Toys, I would hire this guy and have him make a prototype so we can all own one. That paint job is masterful.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Jedi Temple Rey Cosplay

Star Wars The Force Awakens Jedi Temple Rey Cosplay
AlyCat Cosplay looks pretty fierce and intense cosplaying as Resistance Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens! That costume really kicks ass. She certainly has the right attitude to be a Jedi. I wouldn’t want to face her in battle. This was her second attempt at the cosplay. Since the movie isn’t out on DVD yet, the research she had to do on this piece was hard work. Part of that research included seeing the movie 5 times in the theater.

Doctor Who: Interesting Alternative Cyberman Designs

Doctor Who Interesting Alternative Cyberman Designs
The Cybermen in New Who are okay, but I think their design is a bit boring. I much prefer the old Earthshock Cybermen from Peter Davison’s era. I’m still hoping that one day the modern Cybermen will get a decent makeover. Hopefully something like these designs that I recently came across.

The first design is a bit plain much like modern Cybermen, but I really like the extra black details, as if the human parts beneath are in some kind of wet suit. If you combine that with the darker design below, I think you have a winner. Something that will have kids hiding under their beds when a Cyberman episode comes on. Those eyes!

The Star Trek Encyclopedia, Revised and Expanded Edition: A Reference Guide to the Future

The Star Trek Encyclopedia Revised and Expanded Edition
I’m one of these guys who can get really lost in books like this. I just love every little detail that you can learn about the world of Star Trek. As the name implies The Star Trek Encyclopedia, Revised and Expanded Edition: A Reference Guide to the Future is an updated edition with even more “stuff”.

Michael and Denise Okuda literally cover every moment from the four Star Trek series and eight films. Every planet ever visited, every food ingested, every outfit worn, and every featured character. You would be hard pressed to find much that is missing from these books. As far as I’m concerned this is a must for your Sci-Fi library.

Cool Star Wars Watercolor Prints
You can find these cool prints at Etsy seller goldenplanetprints shop along with many other awesome pieces of art. These Star Wars watercolor prints look pretty amazing. I love how they all drip and fade to nothing. I’m not sure why that fascinates me so much, but I love seeing these characters in this way. It’s just very impactful and eye catching. Almost like they are being created or are dissolving before your eyes.
