It’s the Lord of the Ssssssith. What you are looking at is a Disney collectible Darth Vader helmet that has been covered in python skin by ELEMNT. Darth Vader is such an imposing figure. I never thought he could be more imposing, but put some snakeskin on him and that certainly ups the fear factor. This is an even darker side of Darth Vader.

This news is going to please serious Star Trek comic collectors. It is some very welcome news. Eaglemoss is launching their Star Trek: The Graphic Novel Collection. The fortnightly series will deliver hardcover editions of comics drawn from the entire fifty year history of Star Trek comic publishing. That is a LOT of comic books. The books will even have spine-art building up a single image and new introductory texts. You will want to make sure you don’t miss out on any releases. Hit up The Trek Collective for more info.
If you were a kid who grew up in the 80s, you know Short Circuit’s Johnny Five. You probably loved this robot as a kid. If you still have a special place in your heart for this robot, you may soon have a new toy in LEGO form. That’s because PepaQuin submitted this fan-built set to Lego Ideas. It hit the 10,000 votes needed for Lego to officially consider making it.
That would certainly be a nostalgic and awesome set for fans of the lovable robot. He stands seven-inches tall and packs in some incredible detail. It is built from 300 pieces of Lego. Let’s hope that this set passes the next hurdle and wins.

If you practice the art of cross stitching, you’ll want to check out some of the patterns that StitchBucket has in their Etsy shop. You can choose from all kinds of geek cars and vehicles. Like the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1, the Batmobile, X-Wing Fighters and more. I don’t know anything about cross stitching, but if I did, I would totally download these patterns and create some cool stitchery.
I recently discovered a fun new Star Trek web comic, so I had to share it. It is called Red Skirts and it is a fun and wild ride. The art is pretty awesome too. I won’t give away anything. I’ll just tell you to go and check it out because it is just plain fun. I am hooked.

Flash! Ahhh ahhhh! Savior of the universe. All of these years later, I still love that song. And you know what? Cheesy as the 1980s Flash Gordon movie was, it will always have a special place in my heart. That’s why I am excited that Flash Gordon Pop! Vinyl Figures are coming. You can pre-order them now and they will ship in June.

Warning, warning! Danger Will Robinson! The latest version of the B-9 robot from Lost in Space is a 10 inch Anti-Matter version from the episode “The Anti-Matter Man”. This figure has lights and sounds taken straight from the classic sci-fi TV show.
The lights on the head and chest blink constantly while the robot is on, and it also has other lights and “anti-matter” dialogue. Quotes include, “This is the opposite world,” “So you’re the goody-goody one,” and I” don’t need help from you, punk – get lost!” You can also manually raise and lower the head, open and close the claws, extend his arms and turn his torso to the left and right. He even rolls around! Lost in Space fans will want to add this one to their collection.
It’s about time that someone mashed up two of our favorite fantasy TV shows. I present to you Game of Adventure, where the Land of Ooo and Westeros are one in the same. I think artist André Só did an amazing job with all of the characters, but I really get a kick of seeing BMO in costume and swinging a sword around. Also Jake is a great Direwolf.
You might remember Encho Enchev from that sweet Batmobile concept we featured recently. Well, he is full of great ideas and here’s another. Check out this beautifully crafted concept for a Star Wars Imperial fighter. It’s like somebody smashed a snowspeeder and a TIE Fighter together in the loveliest way possible.
The challenge here was to effectively combine shapes and elements to create believable model that can be part of the imperial air force.
This makes me wish that he had designed the ships from the prequels. I wasn’t a big fan of the ships in those films. Something like this would have been much more believable.
