Superheroes And Villains In Street Clothes

It’s not every day that we get to see our favorite heroes and villains in street clothes rather than their usual outfits. Artist Mingjue Helen Chen created this lineup of DC superheroes and villains so we could see what they look like when they dress a bit more like we do. It would be fun to see some of these as cosplay too. Fantastic art.

This Poison Ivy Bombshell Cosplay Will Make You Green With Envy

This cosplay makes it easy to see how Ivy has so much power over plant life. I would be drawn to her as well. Purelight Cosplay looks radiant and stunning as Bombshell Poison Ivy in these images. That costume is amazing and all of the colors are just gorgeous. I said she looked radiant. That must be the photosynthesis under her skin. Lovely Poison Ivy Cosplay

I look at these images of Avant-Geek cosplaying as Poison Ivy and all I can do is quote George Takei and say, “Oh Myyy!” That’s because she looks absolutely stunning. This is her original design called Enchanted Ivy. She clearly loves whimsical and romantic designs that play well with nature.

She really looks at home in nature as does that dress. These images are simply lovely. Some cosplayers just put on costumes, others create works of art. Great work Avant-Geek.

Makeup artist and body painter Alexys Fleming has released two makeup tutorial videos that will teach you how to transform yourself into some DC Comics vixens. I’m talking about the villainous Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

It’s amazing how good she is at painting all of the details and she does it on the first try every time. If I tried to paint myself in the mirror it would look like a horror story. The end results are great, especially Harley Quinn. You can find more cool tutorials on her YouTube channel.

This is a clever take on Arkham Asylum. This Haunted Arkham Asylum print is a fun version of the paintings from the stretching room in Disney’s haunted mansion. Yeah, I think it’s much better as a haunted Arkham with Batman and friends.

It is an 11″x17″ color print printed on metallic pearl paper. This will look amazing wherever you display it.

Sexy Vintage Style Superheroine Pin-Up Ads

This series of sexy vintage style ads are from illustrator Ant Lucia. It shows the women from DC Comics as powerful and stylish pinup girls.

Each poster advertises a product and service they could represent in the real world. For instance, Wonder Woman replaces Rosie the Riveter in a propaganda poster while Batgirl poses for Gotham City’s airlines. These women have never looked so awesome.

Poison Ivy Mad Scientist Cosplay

This fantastic series of photos shows us Poison Ivy as we have never seen her before. The talented and beautiful Rei-Doll is Poison Ivy. The photographer is Soldatov Vladimir. I’m not sure which I love more, the photography and decor or Rei-Doll.

She’s an organic mad scientist among a background of cogs and machines. There’s something about that juxtaposition that I really love. I am surprised that the plants have not completely choked all of those clockwork parts. This is a nice look at Ivy at work in her chemistry lab.

I love these Norman Rockwell inspired Saturday Evening Post covers. They feature some of our favorite classic DC Comics heroes and villains. This art comes from DeviantArt user OnlyMilo a.k.a. Ruiz Burgos. Wonder Woman, Clark Kent, Zatanna, The Joker, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy all look right at home in the era portrayed on these covers.

I always love seeing these characters in new ways that are totally unexpected, yet realistic. They really come to life here in these classy vintage covers. Awesome work.

Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy Cosplay: Ivy & Harley’s Night Out

This super fun and sexy Gotham photo shoot was done by Saffels Photography and stars Traci Hines as Poison Ivy, Angi Viper as Harley Quinn and Brandon Hillock as Batman. It is aptly titled “Ivy & Harley’s Night Out”. And as you can see, it was quite a night. Not so great for Batman, but the girls had a blast.

This dynamic duo basically has the Bat all wrapped up and ready to present to “Mister J”. The rest of the night was just gloating and having fun. I love the colors. Plus, I’m a sucker for red-haired women who like gardening.
