Here is a fun design for some Adventure Time playing cards that unfortunately don’t exist. This was created for Hero Complex Galaxy’s recent Cardistry show, where a bunch of artists gave their own artistic interpretations on unique playing cards. Canadian artist Nanji Jon-Dakat created these cool conceptual Doctor Who playing cards as part of a school project. We only have the king and the jack, but I love the look of these cards and that Gallifreyan cardback is pretty awesome too. I would love to see a whole set done in this style.
I really love the style of these custom X-Men playing cards. They are from Melbourne-based designer Mark Eastwood. Naturally they are called “Uncanny Playing Cards”. Instead of your typical kings and queens, the face cards have Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, Storm, and Professor X, plus others.
They all interact with the suit symbols in clever ways too. They have a great retro style as if they were released in the 1960s. Even Gambit wouldn’t throw these cards. They are too cool. I need to be able to buy them.

What could be better than Ghostbusting. And the latest news is that we have not one, but two Ghostbusters movies to look forward to. Hopefully they live up to the originals, although I am not getting my hopes up. I spotted these Ghostbusters Playing Cards and had to share them. The illustrations are awesome.
At last we can combine Ghostbusting with poker and Black Jack.
