As someone who really enjoys the Horatio Hornblower stories and Star Trek, they really hit the sweet spot for me. These digital paintings really capture the crew in an entirely different era. Their jobs are pretty much the same, minus aliens and new planets. Keep the ship safe while you adventure on the high seas.

Funko Star Trek ReAction Retro Action Figures

Funko has a new line of retro Star Trek figures that they have added to their ReAction line of action figures. These are Star Trek figures as they would have appeared in the retro Kenner format back in the day. These 3 3/4-inch tall ReAction figures have 5 points of articulation and features the 1980s style card back design. You can choose from Spock, Sulu, McCoy and Uhura in this initial release.

If I have one complaint it is that Sulu doesn’t come with a sword, but I’ll live. I love these ReAction style figures. You can pre-order them right now at the links above.
