What is the most anticipated DC Universe movie of the moment? Justice League? No. They better go for less realistic and dark. They better go for cute. Meet the Powerpuff League. They make crime fighting adorable. Sadly, this is not the cartoon movie that we will be getting. But it is the one we deserve.
Scott Park knocks it out of the park with this series of pop culture vehicles that have been given Mad Max makeovers. We featured some of Scott’s other Mad Max vehicles in the past. Zimbio asked artist Isaiah Stephens to put together a few pieces showing what Star Wars mashed up with Disney characters would look like. He did not disappoint. These illustrations are pretty awesome. These Disney princesses look right at home in a galaxy far, far away. Maleficent as Darth Vader is perfect.

Best Spider-Man / X-Men cosplay mashup ever! This is Spidey Matt Cosplay who attended DragonCon to showcase a new costume he came up with. We love it! But does that eyepiece shoot webs? That would be pretty sweet if it did.
This series from artist Butcher Billy is a mash-up of war photography and vintage comics. The images are striking and may well have come from some strange alternate history that none of us is aware off. This is an amazing collision of worlds. Very powerful, with many layers of meaning.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Troopers. Troopers in a half shell! These are the mutant troopers of the First Order. This fun art that combines Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Star Wars is from Isiah Pintac. Splinter, Snoke? What’s the difference? These troopers just want to chill in the sewers and eat pizza.
If you have been spending all of your time playing Pokemon Go, I bet you never saw any Pokemon that look like this. If you do see a gang of Pokemon like this, you better just run. This fun Pokemon Suicide Squad art takes your favorite pocket monsters and turns them into Suicide Squad characters. This series made me laugh out loud. I think they chose exactly the right Pokemon to represent each DC character.
Can you imagine if Tim Burton had been in charge of Game of Thrones? It would be a completely different series that’s for sure. We have an idea what the Tim Burton GoT characters might have looked like thanks to Canadian illustrator Xenia Rassolova, who has created this series. If you’ve ever wondered while playing Dark Souls, what the game would be like with a Star Wars twist, this awesome piece of art will give you some idea. It is called Star Souls. Darth Vader totally looks ready to die and die again, rather than die once and come back as a Force Ghost. Now I really want to see somebody make a mod of this for the game.
