People like to say that Shazam! is basically Tom Hanks’ Big but with a Superhero. That seems about right. So Nerdist has released this fun mash-up trailer that has Billy Batson transforming into Tom Hanks from Big. Enjoy.
Pokemon and Star Wars don’t have a lot in common, but one thing that they do have in common is that both have many amazing creatures. Combine them both and you get Poke Wars. This great art series is from FUN.com who combined creatures and characters from Star Wars with Pokemon. Jabba the Hutt is now Jabba the Muk. Pikachu is Porgachu. And beware Darth Vader who is now Mewth Vadtwo.
While we wait for the next season of Stranger Things, here’s something to help you pass the time. This is some truly amazing art from BossLogic Inc. A Stranger Things X-Men mashup. All of these images are pretty epic. The characters from Stranger Things as X-Men. They make quite the kickass team. I would totally read this comic if it existed. It would be even better as a movie.

I love this Pokemon Superhero Mashup Art from JOSOriginalArtwork. They have several heroes to choose from like Scarlet Speedster(Chu), Batmander, CySquirtle, Bulba Thor and more. I hope they make more because these are just awesome.
While we all wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 to arrive, check out this Adventure Time and Guardians of the Galaxy Mash-Up art in the meantime. It was created by Patrick Burke, who is a 3D Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. He did this piece for an art show, where the theme was combining Adventure Time and a favorite sci-fi film. I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a cartoon. The land of Ooo would never be the same.
Artist Steven Lear has created an awesome series of mashups that mixes together characters from Star Wars with classic music album covers. You can check out the entire series on Facebook, Instagram, and his website. These are pretty perfect. Love that Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here cover.
Game of Thrones and Star Wars are two very different properties, which is probably why we don’t see very many mashups that involve both. But artist Andrew Dat Tran has created some spectacular pieces that work really well. This series imagines Game of Thrones characters dressed in Star Wars attire. There’s Tyrion as Han, Arya as a Jedi Padawan, the Night King as a Sith Lord, and others. I love the style of this series and the dark tone.
The X-Men are mutants. So are most Adventure Time characters. So you can see how they would have a lot in common. This series of X-Men/Adventure Time character mashups was created by talented illustrator and graphic artist Katie Goodrich. I think Katie did a good job pairing them up based on their powers and other traits. Ice King is definitely magneto and Flame Princess is totally Jean grey. I really love Jake as Wolverine too. This series is mathematical!

It’s about time that someone mashed up two of our favorite fantasy TV shows. I present to you Game of Adventure, where the Land of Ooo and Westeros are one in the same. I think artist André Só did an amazing job with all of the characters, but I really get a kick of seeing BMO in costume and swinging a sword around. Also Jake is a great Direwolf.
