The Rebirth of Superman by artist Danilo Rodrigues is an amazing and funny modern interpretation of the classic painting titled The incredulity of Saint Thomas. That is the painting that gave rise to the term doubting Thomas, just in case you were wondering. I love it. It’s equal parts geeky and funny, but still has that seriousness of classic works of art. Batman seems skeptical, which is totally Batman in that situation.
Different superheroes have very different toilet needs, which had honestly never crossed my mind, until I saw this amazing and fun art from Kerry Callen. Urinals of the Justice League. Now that I’ve seen it, this all makes perfect sense. I’d hate to see Doomsday’s urinal.
Alexandre Perez created this amazing series of DC Comics Movie Posters With Old Actors. He takes modern DC Comics movie posters and shows what they would look like with the actors who used to play the parts. Some of these are pretty striking and I especially like the Batman vs. Superman poster. To me, this one shows just how strong these versions of Batman and Superman were and says something about the current trend to make DC movies too gritty and dark. These are all great.
This is a toy that many of us have been waiting for. The Ultimate Justice League Batmobile R/C Vehicle is 2 feet long and you can drive it using your phone. It packs in so many features that you will swear it came from Wayne Enterprises. It even comes with an exclusive 6-inch Batman figure. Plus it looks like they got all of the details just right. I’m going to be playing with this bad boy for hours and hours.

You it isn’t that easy to assemble a team of grade A kick ass superheroes. I mean, sometimes they have other commitments and can’t help you out. So what can you do? In reality you would have to recruit some B-list heroes to round out your team. That’s what is happening in this Funny Or Die Justice League parody. Batman recruits Barb Wire, Shaq’s Steel, Blankman, and Howard the Duck. When you’re that desperate, you get who you can.
Check out this cool and retro Justice League VHS Trailer. This one looks like it could genuinely exist on a VHS tape. They got all of the grainy details just right. The music, the narration and the editing are all pitch perfect. It really delivers the nostalgia while making you want to see the new Justice League movie.
So Mattel recreates the Justice League trailer with some scenes where action figures replace the heroes. It sounds like a cool winning combo, but it’s not. It’s weird guys. It tries to do what fan trailers do, but they miss the mark on almost every level. It just comes off half-hearted, but maybe that’s just me. What do you guys think? Do you like it?

This Justice League Trailer Spoof has some interesting things to say about the superhero team. For one thing, those Wonder Woman entrances can be deadly to the wrong people. And where’s Batman? Did he throw in the cowl and call it quits? ArtSpear Entertainment does a fantastic job on this Justice League parody.
