An official photo from producer James Cameron and director Tim Miller’s new Terminator film has been released. Uh…. Okay. First impressions from this image are:

Sarah Connor is looking very Hillary Clinton like, from back when before Hillary wore moo-moos to events. Not that she ever looked that good.
The one in the center looks like something out of a generic anime. I couldn’t tell if it was a man or a woman at first.
Muh politics! Muh anime! Muh diversity! I hope they aren’t going all female like with Ghostbusters.
Muh God this photo does not make me excited for a new Terminator movie.
Ew! Just ew!

It might be time to put a nail in this series. And EVERY rebooted series. Try something original Hollywood. If you dare.

A press-on nail… Can one of you ladies help me out with that?

James Cameron Is Now An Aliens Colonial Marine Action Figure
Director James Cameron has accomplished a lot in Hollywood, and now his bucket list must surely be complete. He is getting his own action figure thanks to NECA. The figure features Cameron as a Colonial Marine from his classic movie Aliens. It’s is a great way to celebrate the filmmaker. He looks pretty good in the role, don’t you think?

USCM Colonel Cameron becomes the highest-ranking officer in the Aliens movie universe. The 7″ scale figure has over 25 points of articulation and features the likeness of James Cameron as he appeared during the filming of Aliens. There are a few fun Easter eggs relating to the director hidden on the figure itself: a Canadian flag shoulder patch, the Lightstorm logo (Cameron’s film production company), and a Pandora planet patch.

It is available to pre-order on the NECA website and will also be sold at Toys ‘R’ Us stores. If they last long enough for you to get one.

Terminator 2 Set Photos and Concept Art

Do you love Terminator 2? Of course you do. Check out these behind the scenes photos from James Cameron’s classic 1991 film. The images come from Stan Winston’s special effects work shop. I really love that pic of the Schwarzenegger prop with the chest exposed. Look at all of that detail.

It’s easy to see why this movie is so amazing and holds up so well. And those Arnold busts are super creepy. One is surprised. The other looks mean.
