I think they chose exactly the right Pokemon to represent each DC character.

Darth Vader totally looks ready to die and die again, rather than die once and come back as a Force Ghost. Now I really want to see somebody make a mod of this for the game.
Avengers, Owl-semble! Earth’s mightiest heroes only come out at night and each and every one looks adorable. These are from artist 4steex. The series depicts Marvel characters as owls. I have no idea why this exists, but I am glad that it does. Does this mean we can look for a sequel called “The Age of Hoot-tron”?

Artist Chris Thornley created these cool with character combos you don’t see everyday. Like Charlie Brown and Hellboy for instance. Or the Scooby Doo gang in Star Trek uniforms with Khan all tied up. How about Woody Allen and Dr. Manhattan? I like the way his mind works. This series is fun and some of them really make you chuckle.
Game of Thrones and Star Wars are two very different properties, which is probably why we don’t see very many mashups that involve both. But artist Andrew Dat Tran has created some spectacular pieces that work really well. This series imagines Game of Thrones characters dressed in Star Wars attire. There’s Tyrion as Han, Arya as a Jedi Padawan, the Night King as a Sith Lord, and others. I love the style of this series and the dark tone.
It looks like the X-Men team got a cartoon makeover. No, sadly these X-Men toonz will not be invading your TV anytime soon as a new animated series, but that would be cool. These characters were created by Cairo, Egypt based artist Maher Nour. I love how they are both adorable and yet so full of attitude and mischief.
This amazing series by NeoArtCorE is super colorful and wild. It takes some of Marvel’s better known superheroes and transforms them into strong females. I love the style. These women have far more attitude than their male counterparts.

Artist Carlos Fabián Villa is creating an X-Men character series that is inspired by the classic 1990 animated series. He has finished Rogue, Jean Grey, Sabertooth, and Cyclops. Check out the included gifs for each one which shows the process of his work from the first sketch to the finished product. I like these a lot as have fond memories of that animated X-show. I hope he does a bunch more.
