Artist Scott Park created this poster art inspired by the vehicles of Mad Max. It’s called Mad World: The Vehicles of Fury Road and features 33 of the craziest vehicles from the film all in one place.

I really love the style of these custom X-Men playing cards. They are from Melbourne-based designer Mark Eastwood. Naturally they are called “Uncanny Playing Cards”. Instead of your typical kings and queens, the face cards have Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, Storm, and Professor X, plus others.
They all interact with the suit symbols in clever ways too. They have a great retro style as if they were released in the 1960s. Even Gambit wouldn’t throw these cards. They are too cool. I need to be able to buy them.

This art series is just plain awesome. Artist Aburaya Tonbi has created a Marvel and Gundam mash up series that will have Gundam and Marvel fans wishing for an actual crossover. These Marvel heroes look amazing as Gundam robots.
I love all of the little design details. Even if we can’t get an official mashup, I would even be happy with some action figures based on this art. I love it. Captain America and Thor look especially great.
This is a super creative way to do something new with the alphabet. Last week we featured some Star Trek-inspired alphabet art too. This series of illustrations reimagines the ABCs as superheroes and villains in amazing detail. Australia-based illustrator Simon Koay calls the series Superbet and they look really cool.
His designs are really impressive and these must have taken him a lot of time to complete. If you want to own prints of these letters for your wall, you can buy some from Society6.
Here are a few samples from CBR’s The Line is Drawn challenge called, “Superheroes Have to Get Real Jobs.” It’s a peek into a world where superheroes have to earn their money just like the rest of us. Working from 9 to 5. Superman, Ghost Rider, and The Flash might do if they had to get regular jobs. Ghost Rider is a bike courier, The Flash is a mailman, and Superman is a welder at high-rise construction sites.
Imagine if CHAPPiE could turn into a motorcycle Transformers style. Well, that movie would have been much different if he had that ability. Automotive designer and illustrator Tamás Jakus has imagined this for us. This motorcycle design looks just like CHAPPiE if he were running with Optimus Prime and company.
It is based on a Triumph bike and has a CHAPPiE headlight, his antennae on the back seat and the robot’s overall color scheme. It is absolutely perfect. Now I want one. If this were a toy I would buy it in a heartbeat. The design is just brilliant.

This is the best way to learn the alphabet ever. To Boldly Go From A to Z is a fully illustrated alphabet book inspired by Star Trek. The art is pretty amazing and each letter is a classic. This geeky and adorable children’s alphabet book was created by Carly Strickland.

Two of your childhood favorites get mashed up into one cool new thing. I’m talking Star Wars and Dr. Seuss. This classic mashup is super adorable and comes from artist Jason Peltz.
The force is the force. Of course of course. I would have loved to have these children’s books as a kid. It’s too bad Dr. Seuss never teamed up with George Lucas. At least we have cool art like this to show us what could have been.
The original Star Trek TV series was a pop culture phenomenon. Almost everything about it is iconic. In fact, it is amazing that the stars aligned to create such a show that would endure. Now a new Kickstarter campaign is underway in order to create minimal art based on the show.
It is called Minimal Trek, and these minimal posters and postcards are as amazing as the original Star Trek itself. They may be minimal, but they are awesome. They are created by graphic designer Mark Gonyea, who made one for all 79 episodes. He wants to make a 5X7 postcard for each season, an 18X24 poster for each season, and a limited edition 18X24 poster with the images from all three seasons. Hit the link to help fund it.
