This Light-Up Millennium Falcon Christmas Decoration Wins The Holidays

This Christmas decoration beats them all. Colby Powell and his family have no use for inflatable Santas or glowing trees, they think much bigger. They built a light-up Millennium Falcon and stuck it on the roof of their house! The ship measures almost 29 feet long. She may not look like much, but she’s got Christmas spirit where it counts. You can check out the build details at Make magazine. They needed a crane to lift the 700-pound holiday decoration onto the roof.

What are you going to give your significant other this Valentine’s day? You could do a lot worse then giving him or her one of these awesome geeky cards from artist PJ McQuade. He has all kinds of geeky Valentines for the ones you love. Everything from George McFly proclaiming “You are my density” to Star Trek II’s Khan with a card that reads “From the bottom of my heart, I kiss at thee.”

These are awesome cards. Geeky yet romantic. I hope I get one of these on Valentine’s Day. They go good with a box of chocolates.
