Patrick Stefanski has turned Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant into a desktop version of L3-37. And thankfully, it isn’t anywhere near as annoying as the actual droid from Solo. He also gave it a British accent. While I can’t stand this annoying droid, this is an awesome project. I love how it says, “what?”every time he interacts with it. Patrick did a solid job with this one.
Radio Flyer’s ride-on Landspeeder toy goes about 5 MPH. Needless to say, adults need more power. But when you take it apart and then rebuild it with one of Razor’s high-speed Crazy Carts, the game changes. Adam Woodworth now has a serious Landspeeder that does some sick donuts. Pay attention toy companies, more power equals adult purchases.
This is the droid laptop I’ve been looking for. Don’t try to tell me otherwise with your fancy Jedi mind tricks. Ed Zarick created this awesome R2-D2 PS4 laptop. He used 3D printed replicas of Artoo’s parts. It even sounds just like R2-D2 thanks to an Adafruit WaveShield.
It is a more streamlined PS4 from a more civilized age. I love all of the detailing. It is just perfect. Check out the video below.
