Should we call him Deadgroot or Grootpool? This mashup figure brings Baby Groot and Deadpool together in an epic way. It was created by HurleyFX. I love seeing Groot in Deadpool’s colors and I would love to see Groot and Deadpool like this in an actual adventure. Maybe they could fight over who gets to control the body.
This is something new. SNAWH.net is a webpage containing the entire story of Star Wars: Episode IV.In this case, it is told by Swiss illustrator and graphic novelist Martin Panchaud in the style of a huge infographic. It has 157 pictures on 22 huge Adobe Illustrator files. It must have taken him a long time to make this. It is interesting to see how he handled all of that information. Check out his site for the whole thing.

Artist Andrew Tarusov created these very cool old movie posters reimagined with superheroes in them. These are all classic movies from the 80s and 90s. I would like to see all of these movies. These are very creative and a lot of fun.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi L to R: Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) and a Porg
Meet the cutest creatures to hit the Star Wars universe since the Ewoks. Porgs are the small penguin-like creatures who live on Ach-To, the planet where Luke Skywalker is. Writer/director Rian Johnson gave Entertainment Weekly more details about the Porgs. They were inspired by the puffins that inhabit the island where they filmed. However these cute creatures aren’t the only new and unusual creatures in the movie. Another alien species can be found at the primeval Jedi temple. They are called The Caretakers.
“They’re kind of these sort of fish-bird type aliens who live on the island,” Johnson says. “They’ve been there for thousands of years, and they essentially keep up the structures on the island.”
“They’re all female, and I wanted them to feel like a remote sort of little nunnery,” Johnson says. “Neal Scanlan’s crew designed them, and costume designer Michael Kaplan made these working clothes that also reflected sort of a nun-like, spartan sort of existence.”
I’m liking these little touches. If they treat the rest of the movie with this much care, we are in for a great treat.

Artist Charlie Ans mashed up the Planet of the Apes with the Justice League of America. He was just monkeying around, but the end result is a league of heroes who will work for bananas. The series is called JLA-PE. It is a mashup so crazy that I actually wouldn’t mind seeing it on the big screen.
It was the dawn of the third age of mankind – ten years after the Earth-Minbari War… I really miss Babylon 5. It was one of the best sci-fi shows in history. I probably should watch it again soon. If you are a fan like me, check out this good looking Babylon 5 LED Lamp. It looks like it would be right at home in the B5 universe. I love it. This would look great on my desk.
