Marvel Studios has released the Super Bowl trailer for Avengers: Endgame and uh… It’s got a pretty depressing tone. We see some new footage from the film which shows the surviving members of the Avengers, well, surviving. Naturally, things seem pretty gloomy after what happened in Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer features Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Tony Stark Nebula, Thanos, Rocket, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and War Machine.
Warner Bros. has outed the next new trailer for DC’s Shazam! and it brings lots of fun and action. There’s lots of new footage here. This movie really looks like it will be a lot of fun. Among the scenes that we get to see here are young Billy Baston testing out his new powers, buying beer, and Shazam! battling against Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. If it is even half as awesome as it looks this movie is going to do very well at the box office. I can’t wait.
The extended trailer for Aquaman has just been released, and it has people extremely excited to see Jason Momoa play Arthur Curry in this action-packed film. Movie fans have had a real appetite for superhero movies lately, and DC needs another win, so it’s no surprise that Aquaman is highly anticipated. Jason Momoa is best known for his part as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, another fan favorite. It will be very interesting to see him adapt to this new role. Aquaman also features Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard. The plot is simple but interesting. Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) learns of his royal ties and grapples with taking responsibility for his people and leading the kingdom of Atlantis. The film is action-packed and looks epic in every way. Aquaman is scheduled to come to theatres in late December.
Check out this fan-made He-Man and the Masters of the Universe video created by Darth Blender. It takes the classic 80s cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and turns it into a 1940s live-action film. I love how it uses some old stock footage from old films. Awesome job Darth Blender. Just perfect. I wouldn’t mind seeing this movie at all.
Thanks to this new TV spot for The Predator, we get a good look at the Predator Hounds in action! How many people do you think they will kill? they have a face only a Predator could love.

Well, it’s about time. Warner Bros. has released the first official photo from Shazam! and it features Zachary Levi in costume. I have to say, the costume looks great. There were some fears that they would totally botch the costume, but it looks appropriate. The kid standing next to him is Billy’s best friend in the film, Freddy Freeman. I love that they kept that golden age vibe.

The Solo: A Star Wars Story Official Trailer is finally here. It’s got space cars, beautiful women, Lando, a train heist and everything else that you could want from a Star Wars movie. I’m a little concerned that Aiden Ehrenreich’s performance is very flat in this trailer, but the movie looks great visually, so I’m hoping it’s a good movie.
Denny’s is teaming up with Lucasfilm for a Solo: A Star Wars Story cross-promotion campaign. This is a cool promo spot that features kid versions of Han Solo and Lando Calrissian playing a game of sabacc in some seedy cantina in the Star Wars universe. Chewbacca is here too, along with a lot of neat aliens. This is to promote the fact that Denny’s has a movie-inspired menu and trading card packs that can be purchased. Proceeds from the trading card packs will benefit the charity, No Kid Hungry. Some of the cards reveal some new characters. One with the ridiculous name of Therm Scissorpunch.
The Merc with a Mouth takes center stage in this new Deadpool 2 trailer. Guess what? It looks just as amazing as the first Deadpool movie. It brings the violence, required comedy nonsense, X-Men gags, and plenty of cursing. This movie is going to be so good. They waste no time setting up the X-Force movie here too. Check it out below.
Gremlins is a great film to watch over the holidays. Now Gremlins fan Ryan Patrick gives us more Gremlins action to watch around Christmas time. He made this unofficial sequel called Gremlins Recall and it’s pretty great. It picks up 30 years after the events of the 1984 film, but now Mogwai are domesticated pets that are kept in check with an injection. Obviously things go badly. I would really like to see this short fleshed out into a feature length movie.
