This series from Gabriel Ferraz is titled Rick and Morty and Marvel. Naturally it mashes up Rick and Morty with Marvel characters. This is the kind of series I love because it’s so creative and interesting to see how the artist mashes characters together. Here we have Morty as Cyclops, Mr. Meeseeks as Yondu, Rick as Mr.Fantastic and Summer as Scarlet Witch.
These Superhero Wall Emblems from ComicSandwiches are perfect for any mancave, game room, geek lair or secret superhero headquarters. The shop is full of great geek wall art, but we really like these emblems because they feel kind of old school and official. They are perfect for kid’s rooms and the rooms of adult geeks alike. You can choose from Batman, Spider-Man, The Avengers, Suicide Squad and many more. Decorate with a bunch of them and your room will look like a superhero UN.
If you were disappointed with Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four movie, you were far from alone. One thing that we didn’t see in the movie was HERBIE the robot. Apparently the robot was to be in the movie at one point. Not that this would have helped any.
HERBIE stands for Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics. Thanks to concept artist Fausto De Martini we have some concept designs showing us what we missed out on. He is literally a robot sitting on a soccer ball. He also has LEGO parts. I’m guessing it was to be built by Reed Richards as a kid in the film. Or maybe as an adult. I mean most of us never grow out of LEGO. It’s kind of cool, but it also feels like something is off about it.
Whether you enjoyed Josh Trank’s FF4 movie or not, you’ll like this. Concept artist Steve Jung has released some concept art that he made for the much talked about and maligned Fantastic Four film.
What is interesting here is that they feature a different-looking Planet Zero and also show off Doctor Doom’s castle. This art was created in 2013, and you can see from these images that at that time, that things changed a lot. I’m really enjoying what I’m seeing here. We can only imagine what kind of movie we would have gotten if their plans hadn’t changed so much.
Kate Willaert researched, wrote, illustrated, and designed this cool infographic for HalloweenCostumes.com. It shows the progression of the Fantastic Four’s costumes throughout the years. Hardcore fans will likely know all of these, but newcomers may learn a thing or two. Try not to hold the latest movie against this superhero team.
I can’t say that I have ever wondered what Marvel superheroes would look like as dogs, but artist Josh Lynch clearly has. So he created this art series to show the rest of us what is in his head. This series is super fun. I think he made all of the right casting choices.
It’s hard to pick a favorite. If these dogs were up for adoption I would have to take them all and create a super canine team.
Northern Belle really did a killer job on this Rogue / The Thing crossover cosplay. I’m not sure if this ever happened in the comic books, but if not, it really should have. Rogue looks great as The Thing. The body paint, done by Artisticurves is really amazing.

It is really a shame that we can’t get a good animated Fantastic Four movie made. This artwork by Earl Norem is just stunning and this should be the template for an animated movie. It’s from a vintage kids book and is more alive than most movies.
Someone needs to run with this idea. This art is just amazing.
