Etsy seller EricHoRaw makes some pretty neat figures out of sandstone and these Superhero Corgi Figures really stand out. They are a cute mashup of many people’s favorite dog breed and some of our favorite heroes. My personal favorite is Thorgi the Corgi God of Thunder. These figures are just too adorable. I can’t say that I have ever wondered what Marvel superheroes would look like as dogs, but artist Josh Lynch clearly has. So he created this art series to show the rest of us what is in his head. This series is super fun. I think he made all of the right casting choices.
It’s hard to pick a favorite. If these dogs were up for adoption I would have to take them all and create a super canine team.
Some people will tell you that Doctor Who has gone to the dogs under showrunner Steven Moffat, but I don’t think that is entirely true. However in the case of this series from artist tee-kyrin, it is entirely true. I present to you Doctor Who as dogs!
The series is named “Dogtor Who”. Of course. All of the dogs match their timelord counterparts nicely. This is a fun series and the art is awesome.
