You know what movie I want to see more than Star Wars Episode VIII? The Empire Vs. Aliens! Star Wars vs. Aliens is a series of amazing and epic illustrations featuring Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers battling against the Alien Queen and her xenomorphs. Concept artist Guillem H. Pongiluppi has created an amazing movie in my mind thanks to these haunting images.

Keith Vlahakis calls this series Star Wars Popism. These pop art renditions of several iconic character helmets look pretty sweet. I love some of the little details like the brushwork on that Stormtrooper helmet below and the patterns on Jango Fett’s helmet.
Zimbio asked artist Isaiah Stephens to put together a few pieces showing what Star Wars mashed up with Disney characters would look like. He did not disappoint. These illustrations are pretty awesome. These Disney princesses look right at home in a galaxy far, far away. Maleficent as Darth Vader is perfect.

Star Wars Rogue One will be hitting theaters in a few months, so naturally some LEGO sets are already beginning to surface. This recreation of a scene from the trailer is from markus19840420. It is a faithful recreation of the mysterious hooded figure kneeling before what appears to be a bacta tank as Imperial Guards look on. I wonder who that could be? He did a nice job on this piece, even managing to add a cool steam effect. Very cool. Nailed it! Really looking forward to seeing this movie.

Samkwok Workshop has some new Iron Man mashup action figures and they look amazing. Check out this 1966 version of Batman, which uses Hot Toys’ Iron Man Mark III figure. And then there is Darth Vader, which uses the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 42 armor as the base. This guy knows to to make custom action figures that we all want to play with. Darth Vader’s armor looks pretty good with an Iron Man twist. I really like that design.

They have the Millennium Falcon, the Death Star, Darth Vader, BB-8, an AT-AT and more. I would put one in every room if I could. These lamps bring the characters and vehicles to life in full 3D.
Álvaro Ortiz López, from Jalisco, México, is one of the Huichol. One of their traditions is their beaded art which can take many forms, like jaguar heads and other folklore themes. This art is also applied to various helmets and masks. In this case he used the force and combined this tradition with Star Wars, to create this Darth Vader and Stormtrooper mask.
It’s the Lord of the Ssssssith. What you are looking at is a Disney collectible Darth Vader helmet that has been covered in python skin by ELEMNT. Darth Vader is such an imposing figure. I never thought he could be more imposing, but put some snakeskin on him and that certainly ups the fear factor. This is an even darker side of Darth Vader.

Darth Vader’s suit has a lot of awesome built-in features. We never really learned who built it or how much it cost. One thing is for sure, all of those features don’t come cheap. It must have cost a lot of galactic credits. Well, Shade Station did the research and put a price tag on Darth Vader’s suit.
They compared the suit to real-world technology like space suits and jet fighter helmets, because they are probably the closest things we have to Vader’s gear. Check out the infographic to find out how much it will all cost.
