This Amazing Timelapse Construction Of The Death Star video just blew me away. Vimeo user OutsideHollywood worked on this with his brother after watching a bit of the Death Star assembly in Rogue One left them wanting more. They did a fantastic job. It would have been cool to see a timelapse like this in one of the Star Wars movies, but that’s okay. The visuals here are pretty stunning especially with the music.
The 50th anniversary is a big year for Star Trek Mega Bloks. They are offering several TOS sets and models of ships. The first wave of these sets is now complete, now that the largest is finally available. And wow, it was worth the wait. You can pre-order it right now and it will be released in July.
The USS Enterprise set has 3,098 pieces. The model is 85cm long assembled. It has light-up nacelles and two figurines of Kirk and Spock. If that isn’t enough, the display base is a miniature of the ship’s dedication plaque. This is a serious Mega Bloks Starship.
