Super Drunk – Superhero Beer Designs

Super Drunk is a fun set of beer bottle designs inspired by Superheroes and characters from comics. All of your favorites are here, with their very own beer brands. Wolverine, Deadpool, Hell Boy, even Marv from Sin City.

The designs are awesome and if they were real, they would sell out in no time. These were created by illustrator Butcher Billy. I would love to see the commercials that would accompany these beers in the real world. Deadpool and Wolverine would kill it in the ads.

Johnny Five Robot Might Become An Official LEGO Set

If you were a kid who grew up in the 80s, you know Short Circuit’s Johnny Five. You probably loved this robot as a kid. If you still have a special place in your heart for this robot, you may soon have a new toy in LEGO form. That’s because PepaQuin submitted this fan-built set to Lego Ideas. It hit the 10,000 votes needed for Lego to officially consider making it.

That would certainly be a nostalgic and awesome set for fans of the lovable robot. He stands seven-inches tall and packs in some incredible detail. It is built from 300 pieces of Lego. Let’s hope that this set passes the next hurdle and wins.

Fun Marvel Soda Can Concept

Artist Beni Hdz created this Fun Marvel Soda Can Concept and I have to say, it has me wanting Marvel to get into the soft drink business. These are just so beautiful. That is how you sell a product. I don’t even care what kind of drink is inside. I just want these. These cans are Avengers themed, but this would work great with any character or team.

LEGO Voltron Concept Set

This LEGO concept set is as legendary as Voltron himself. This Lion Force Voltron was created by LEGO Ideas member len_d69. The designs here look and work more like non-LEGO Voltron action figures, which is actually a big plus.

This is a solid LEGO set. All of the lions combine to form a 16″ tall and 2.2 lb Voltron. This concept is slick and there’s not a Voltron fan anywhere that would not want this in their collection. Vote for it on LEGO Ideas using the link above. You could help make it a reality.

Super Kicks – Nikes Get The Superhero Treatment

Melbourne, Australia based Kode Logic designed these awesome mashups that put superhero styling all over Nikes. Some of DCs and Marvels best are represented here. He really has a great eye for design. He even managed to give the Superman version a cool cape without it looking silly. Really digging The Flash versions too.

I would love to see sneakers for sale that looked like this. I can easily imagine these heroes wearing these shoes with their outfit. Check out some of his previously featured work here.

Lightsaber Designs For Him and Her

French artist and motion designer Patrick Grandi created this cool video showcasing a pair of His and Hers lightsaber designs. These designs are pretty awesome. As much as I love Star Wars lightsabers, my only gripe would be how little the hilts deviate from the original designs. I think we can do better and this concept proves it.

They should look like the elegant weapons that they are from a more civilized age. Look at all of the amazing detail in these weapons. They are downright sexy as hell, with so many curves and grooves.I just love all of the detail here. Just beautiful.

Ikea Style Star Wars Lamps

If Ikea sold Star wars inspired lighting, these are the amazing lamps that we could buy. They have a fantastic minimal design and are striking in the home. They all have that unmistakable Scandinavian style and are presented as pages in a Swedish catalog. The names are reminders of the origin of that particular lamp.

“Maul” is probably my favorite. As usual, I just wish I could buy these for real. Still, it’s nice to see what they are buying in alternate realitys. They come from the mind of Eyal Rosenthal.

More Star Wars: The Force Awakens Concept Art

The Industrial Light & Magic website has shared a bunch of art from The Force Awakens. These images are from throughout the film’s development. The most interesting pieces are the ones from very early on in The Force Awakens’ development, when some things looked very different. Check out that weird folding TIE Fighter, which I love. That design actually makes a lot more sense if you ask me. There are lots of other cool things in these images, like two-man X-Wings for instance.

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens almost here, the folks at Car Wow have been passing the time by designing some cool new Star Wars themed cars. They have reimagined some popular characters as flashy sports cars.

I love them all, with one exception. Can you guess which one I think should be left in a junk yard? I’ll give you a hint. “Mes’a get good gas mileage Ani. Choose me.”

Avengers Drinks

Earth’s mightiest heroes are here to quench your thirst with these Avengers themed drinks. Sadly we can’t buy these at the store. They are conceptual pieces by Ruben Ruata, who did a fantastic job. I would buy each and every one of these. That is some kick-ass labeling and packaging. I want to know how they taste!

Especially that “Captain 1941”. That has had some serious time to age. I’m also down for a bottle of Asgard beer anytime.
