The first Doctor is as grumpy as ever when he meets the current twelfth Doctor as we can see in this clip from “Twice Upon a Time,” Peter Capaldi’s last full episode. It is also the Doctor Who Christmas Special. The older Doctor does not approve of the TARDIS interior at all. We will have to wait until Christmas day to see the full episode. I for one can’t wait.
Here is a cool short promo video for Spider-Man: Homecoming. It highlights the new Spidey suit and all of it’s upgrades. Tony Stark packed it full of neat tricks and gadgets. I can’t wait to see Peter Parker play with them all in the film. This movie really looks like they have made Spider-Man fun again and taken things back to basics. Spider-Man has always been about the struggle of balancing his home and school life with being a superhero. That’s when Spidey works and so far I think they have nailed it. This movie should be great.
So what happens when Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey and Samantha from Her strike up a conversation. Weird creepiness, that’s what. This video from Tilmann Ohm was created by selecting lines from both characters, and combining them into a conversation. Needless to say, it is pretty weird to hear the two computer intelligences talking. You keep waiting for them to talk about killing off humanity, but they never do thankfully.
