Mirror Mirror Star Trek Cosplay

Ask anybody what their favorite original Star Trek episode is and 9 out of 10 people will answer, “Mirror, Mirror”. It is an amazing episode that turns everything on it’s head, taking Kirk and crew to a parallel universe. This cosplay based on the classic episode comes from Thunderfairy and we love it. She stars as a crew member from that parallel universe and even gets to hang out with bearded Spock. Well done! This is some nice eye candy. Of course I’ve always been partial to that colorful bridge set.

Rare Behind The Scenes Photos From Classic Doctor Who

All I can say is wow. Doctor Who fans will enjoy this collection of behind the scenes images from classic Doctor Who from imgur user sibeling. There are so many candid shots of the actors having fun on and off the set, from William Hartnell to Sylvester McCoy.

These are sure to bring a smile to your face. I’m sure there were many trying times while making this series, but clearly the actors spent most of the time enjoying themselves and loved what they were doing.

This Is What A Remastered Battlestar Galactica Might Look Like

We’ve seen remastered versions of Star Trek, Star Wars(Thanks George, but it wasn’t necessary.) and other vintage sci-fi properties, but what about Battlestar Galactica? Have you ever wondered what the original Batttlestar Galactica series would look like if it was remastered and re-released? It would look a lot like this.

This amazing reel of a restored and remastered original BSG was created by Adam “Mojo” Lebowitz. This video is a demo to get us all excited about how frakkin’ awesome it looks. I fully support this as long as we also get a remastered Babylon 5 too.

Behind the Scenes Photos of Metropolis

Check out these amazing behind the scenes photographs from the classic sci-fi movie Metropolis from 1927. This was a gargantuan production for its time. Looking at all of these images, that is what really strikes you. The entire thing was massive.

Today massive productions are nothing and millions are spent just procuring actors alone. These photos really give you a sense of the sheer enormity of putting this movie together in that era and it really paved the way for many movies that came after it. The story represented in these stills are like a movie behind the movie. Love these.
