We can thank the LEGO Ideas crowdsourcing platform, because a new Voltron Lego set will be introduced at SDCC in July. After that it will be made available to all starting 8/1/18. The set has 2321 pieces and naturally has five lions that can be combined to form a 15″ Voltron. Sweet!

It’s a sad time for Adventure Time fans. The series is finally coming to an end. We are going to miss Finn and Jake, LSP, Princess Bubblegum and the rest of the gang. Imgur user chewitpunchy made this awesome life-sized Pickle Rick from Rick and Morty, then his girlfriend painted it. It came out pretty spot on. We didn’t get to see what it was like for Han and Leia to raise little Kylo Ren, but it is easy to imagine that he was a little terror. This hilarious piece of art is from Jason Cartoons and it shows just a bit of what Chewbacca had to go through when babysitting this little tyrant.
Most heroes are all about health and exercise and clean living, but it turns out that even superheroes can succumb to excesses and the aging process. When they do it isn’t pretty. Italian cartoonist Donald Soffritti imagines heroes who lived a life of excess and are now older. This art is just awesome, even if their aging is not.

If you’ve ever wondered what the Suicide Squad would look like as cartoon characters, artist Brandon Pike has the answer. He created a cool series of art that shows a few of the Suicide Squad members in cartoon style. Included are The Joker, Harley Quinn, Enchantress, Killer Croc, and Batman. Hopefully he adds more. I’m totally up for a Suicide Squad animated series. Not sure that would ever happen though.
