The Making Of Arrival FX Breakdown Video

If you enjoyed Arrival, Oblique FX has released The Making Of Arrival video showing off the VFX work on the film. Many Bothans died to- I mean, a lot of work went into telling this story on the big screen and much of that was special effects work. This video gives us a look at what was real and what was not. They did an amazing job on this film and without these effects it would not have been the awesome movie that it is. Many people consider this to be the best Sci-Fi movie of 2016 after all.

Batman v Superman VFX Reel Is A Must Watch

Okay, so Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice didn’t go down well with many of the fans, but I think we can all agree that we were impressed by the visual effects. The effects work was simply top notch and there are more effects in the movie than you might think. This fun video will show you a lot of it and you will be impressed all over again. Whether you like the movie or not, the work that went into it must be respected.

The Art Of Ghost In The Shell

The new Ghost in the Shell movie looks like the future cyberpunk movie we have been craving for a long time and now we also get to take a look at a book that is all about what it took to bring this world to the big screen. The Art of Ghost in the Shell is written by David S. Cohen with a foreword from WETA Workshop’s Richard Taylor.

This book is a behind-the-scenes look at how the movie was made and how they created the aesthetic look of the film. From what we can see so far, it looks every bit as intriguing as the movie itself.

A Look At The Visual Effects in Star Trek Beyond

Mike Seymour of FX Guide and Wired takes a look at the special effects used in director Justin Lin‘s Star Trek Beyond. He covers everything from the digital construction of the Starship Enterprise, to the extraterrestrials themselves. This movie had some amazing effects, so this is a fun watch. They certainly put a lot of work into this one.

Dr. Zaius On Working With Charleton Heston On Planet Of The Apes

This clip from Turner Classic Movies features Dr. Zaius talking about working with Charleton Heston On Planet Of The Apes. I’m not sure when this was filmed, but Dr, Zaius has aged very well. No crows feet (Maybe I should say monkey paws) or anything. It’s a short clip, but those are some great stories about the film and Charleton Heston’s kindness.
