The BBC has unveiled a brand new trailer for the 11th season of Doctor Who. You might remember that the first trailer was a little cryptic and didn’t really show us a lot of what we love in DW, namely alien worlds and action. That’s okay because they saved it all up for this one.

There is plenty of Jodie Whittaker running down corridors and waving her sonic screwdriver. Plus aliens, spaceships, twin suns, asteroids, desert planets- WTF. Is this Star Wars? Anyway, it also lest you forget they make it very clear that the Doctor is in charge. “Says who? Says us!” I wonder why they felt they had to write that in. Huh. Regardless, enjoy this action-packed trailer. Doctor Who returns October 7.

With every new Doctor these days, we get a new sonic screwdriver. It’s kinda a gimmick that I don’t mind when they make it cool looking, but I’m not feeling this odd looking new version. I’ll keep an open mind until I see it on screen though. It is different, that’s for sure. Anyway, this replica measures 7.4″ long and has lights and sounds. Just press the button for authentic sound effects, glowing red and orange lights, or to activate the glowing rotating crystal. Check it out over at Hot Topic.

So today we got our first look at Jodie Whittaker’s new Doctor Who outfit and you might say she’s dressing down a bit, although I’m sure the outfit will change over time. Aside from the obvious Mork and Mindy color scheme, it looks okay, but I’m sorry, it just looks like s child playing the Doctor. The suspenders and the colored stripes are apparently a callback to previous Doctors. My feeling is that this is the BBC testing the look out and seeing how you all react. I mean, I knew they weren’t going to go super sexy, nor should they, but this is a bit too much in the opposite direction. Who knows? Maybe it will work better on screen. Loving the TARDIS going back to basics though.

New Trailer For Doctor Who Season 10
Season 10 of Doctor Who is almost here. It’s been a long wait. Now we have a brand new trailer for Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat’s last season of Doctor Who season 10 and there is a lot of weirdness, which is not all that unusual for the show. It looks like we have a lot of cool stuff to look forward to. There are the old-school, cloth-faced Cybermen from the 1960s, Missy, Female ice warriors, a human-looking girl who says “exterminate” like a Dalek and more. There are many other things to see as well. It is jampacked with cool stuff.

Finally we had some Doctor Who with the Christmas special, after a long drought this year. Now it is time to set our sights on series 10. We now have a trailer. It is full of lots of new robots, monsters and running. In other words, everything you expect from Doctor Who. This trailer focuses heavily on Bill, the Doctor’s new companion, has some Daleks, Matt Lucas, strange robots with smiley faces, a blue alien and much much more. It looks like it is going to be a great season. From what we can see here, Matt Lucas looks like he may be a companion this series as well.

First Trailer for the 2016 Doctor Who Christmas Special
The BBC has just released the first trailer for the 2016 Doctor Who Christmas Special! The episode is titled, “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” and it introduces viewers to a mysterious superhero called The Ghost. This episode looks like a lot of fun. This is the first time we have had a masked superhero in the Doctor Who universe. The Doctor Who Christmas Special will air on BBC One on Christmas Day at 5.45pm. Check out the trailer below and another video about the Doctor’s new companion just as a reminder, in case you aren’t caught up.

The Christmas sees The Doctor join forces with a masked Superhero for an epic New York adventure. With brain-swapping aliens poised to attack, the Doctor and Nardole link up with an investigative reporter and a mysterious figure known only as The Ghost. Can the Doctor save Manhattan? And what will be revealed when we see behind the mask?
