Out of all of the Batmobiles that have existed over the years, the original is still the most iconic. Out of all of Batman’s rides, this one comes the closest to being an actual Hot Rod from the era. This statue celebrates the ’66 Batmobile in a playful style full of motion and color. Love it.
Well Batman v Superman recently hit theaters, so Select Car Leasing thought it would be a good time to take a look back at the Batmobile’s evolution in film. This is one of the most iconic cars ever created and over the years it has changed many times and has been driven by many actors. However, no matter how much it changes, you always know it belongs to Batman with just a glance. It is as much of a character as Batman himself. Hot Toys is still revealing their full line of figures based on the upcoming Batman v Superman and now they have debuted the first official images of their Batman and Batmobile cosbaby figures! They are downright adorable. The Batman figure stands 9.5 cm tall with the Batmobile measuring 16cm in length. This pair will arrive later this year. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Batman franchise and since the Batmobile has always been a big part of the Caped Crusader’s world, it makes sense to celebrate with a look at 10 illustrated versions of Batman’s iconic vehicles by David Lo.
Batman has driven several Batmobiles through the years and each reflects the era. Here we can see some choice Batmobiles from the original red sedan from the Batman comic books in 1939 to the Batmobile from Zach Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

As cool as most Superheroes are, sometimes their vehicles come off as one-dimensional. That isn’t the case with Josh Ln’s polygonal art. Josh has created famous polygonal cars (and other vehicles) that look absolutely out of this world.
Any Superhero would be proud to drive one of his creations. Here we see the Batmobile, the Turtle Van, even the Millennium Falcon and Back To The Future’s DeLorean, all created out of polygons. The end result are amazing rides that equal more than the sum of their parts.
