Marvel Heroes And DC Heroes Suit Up For Danger

Superheroes have long protected their home cities, states, and the world. But in 2020 how can they protect us mere mortals against a deadly pandemic like coronavirus? By wearing medical masks of course, just like us. You do what you have to do to protect the ones you love from covid-19. These heroes are no stranger to masks, so the choice was an easy one. They just do what they do every day. Marvel Heroes and DC Heroes suit up for danger. Just like all of the doctors and nurses around the world, who are also heroes.

So if you see one of your favorite Marvel Heroes and DC Heroes flying by and looking a little strange, have no fear. And make sure that you mask up too, in order to protect them right back. This art honors everyone who fights for our health every day. Living in a world where we have to quarantine is not easy. The heroes are on the frontline fighting coronavirus.

Dave Bautista as Bane

Dave Bautista as Bane
I guarantee that you had no idea how much you wanted to see this until you witness it for yourselves. This cool art combines Dave Bautista (from Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bane, the Batman villain. One incredibly talented fan artist, William Gray, took it upon himself to let Dave Bautista follow in the footsteps of director James Gunn and join the world of DC. Gray took to Photoshop to create this superhero masterpiece, which is just one of his many magnificent creations on display on his Instagram page. I think it’s fair to say that the fans were completely correct on this one – Dave Bautista would make an epic Bane.

Zack Snyder On Batman Killing People – “Wake The F**k Up”

Zack Snyder On Batman Killing People
One of the controversies regarding Ben Affleck’s Batman in Batman v Superman was the fact that he killed. In the comics, Batman had a strict no killing rule. It’s one of those tough questions when writing Batman because if Batman were real, he would be forced to kill from time to time. On the other hand, his strict moral code is so ingrained in his character and is a beautiful thing.

During a recent Q&A, Zack Snyder talked about this part of Affleck’s Batman and the way he handled the character, and he was surprised that fans had a problem with it:

“Someone says to me: [Ben Affleck’s] Batman killed a guy. I’m like, ‘fuck, really? Wake the fuck up.'”

He explained further:

“I guess that’s what I’m saying. Once you’ve lost your virginity to this fucking movie and then you come and say to me something about like ‘my superhero wouldn’t do that.’ I’m like ‘Are you serious?’ I’m like down the fucking road on that.”

“It’s a cool point of view to be like ‘my heroes are still innocent. My heroes didn’t fucking lie to America. My heroes didn’t embezzle money from their corporations. My heroes didn’t commit any atrocities.’ That’s cool. But you’re living in a fucking dream world.”

A DC Comics Themed Restaurant May Be Headed For The UK

A DC Comics Themed Restaurant May Be Headed For The UK
Breakfast With Batman? Noontime nuggets with Nightwing? Supper With Superman? According to Bleeding Cool, a new DC-themed restaurant is being planned for the UK where comics and food will collide. I have to say I like this idea a lot, but why doesn’t the US ever get cool things like this?

“The proposed design continues the use of the space as a high-end restaurant. The restaurant will be rooted within the DC Multiverse, taking visitors on a culinary adventure through the many fictional Universes famous for its superhero residents such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The style and design of the DC Multiverse are heavily influenced by the Art Deco period with the style prominent within its publications and film and television work.

The restaurant will not be a ‘theme park’ with literal sets and costumes from the franchise, but it has the intention to invite guests to experience the DC Universe without breaking the fourth wall- the imaginary wall that separates the audience from the performance. Reflecting Oliver Bernard’s work, the design will be a contemporary interpretation of the Art Deco period. This approach will evoke a sense of atmosphere prevalent in DC and the Titanic Bar without resorting to pastiche, encapsulating the Art Deco ethos of endless possibilities- progression and forward movement of time.”

I could dine in Gotham.

Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro - 1966 Batmobile Tribute

Now combine a car like the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro with the classic 1966 Batman car and what do you get? You get a stunning beauty that melts your heart. Illustrator Marco van Overbeeke, of the Netherlands, decided to make a rendering of what he envisioned these two cars would look like when combined.

Shane West as Bane in Gotham Season 5

Shane West as Bane in Gotham Season 5
We’ve finally gotten our first look at Shane West as Bane. His long-anticipated appearance will finally come in the fifth season of Gotham. Though the new dynamic will be a valuable addition to the series, many fans have been critical of the first photo that was released of his new look. The traditional Bane has an iconic and incredibly distinct look. The Bane portrayed by Shane West appears to look cheap like he’s sucking venom through a torn down toaster on his chest. It’s worth noting that it is possible that the photo provided is only a starting point for the costume and that there’s more work to be done. But for now, the consensus seems to be that fans don’t like the new look.

The Batmobile Spotted On The Set Of Joker

The Batmobile Spotted On The Set Of JOKER
There’s a new video from the set of Joker and it features a Batmobile, but not the one you may be thinking of. This is the classic 1960s version that Adam West drove. We aren’t sure how this fits in with the movie, but we are definitely intrigued. Maybe it’s just an easter egg. Honestly, it just makes me more interested in this movie. I can’t wait to find out what is going on here.

Joker will be released in theaters on October 4, 2019.
