Phenix Customs makes all kinds of custom Star Wars action figures and not the ones you would expect. Stuff like Obi-Wan’s empty cloak after Vader kills him, the charred remains of Lukes aunt and uncle, chunks of what was formerly Alderaan, and many more. All on the card.
I especially like the severed Wampa arm. Cool stuff. You should definitely go buy something and help support his craft.
These Funko Fifth Element action figures are fun. This is what the figures would have looked like had they been released back in the 1980s by Kenner. They didn’t exist back then, but at least we can own them now.
You can choose from Leeloo in straps, Korben Dallas, the Diva, Ruby Rhod, Leelo out of straps, a Mangalore and Zorg. You have to get the whole set since these really are great displayed together. They are just $9.99 each.
R2-ME2 is an awesome Sideshow Collectibles art show where a bunch of talented artists reimagine our favorite droid, R2-D2. These custom R2-D2s were on display at the 2015 Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, California.
They are all based on a Sideshow R2-D2 Deluxe 1/6 Scale Action Figure. These creations are both original and inspiring. You have never seen R2-D2 like this before. I hope we see more projects like this one in the future.

Funko has a new line of retro Star Trek figures that they have added to their ReAction line of action figures. These are Star Trek figures as they would have appeared in the retro Kenner format back in the day. These 3 3/4-inch tall ReAction figures have 5 points of articulation and features the 1980s style card back design. You can choose from Spock, Sulu, McCoy and Uhura in this initial release.
If I have one complaint it is that Sulu doesn’t come with a sword, but I’ll live. I love these ReAction style figures. You can pre-order them right now at the links above.
Fans of Buck Rogers know that the series doesn’t have as many cool toys as Star Wars, but there are some quality Buck Rogers toys out there, like this Buck Rogers 1:9 Scale Wave 1 Action Figure Set. In this set you get both Buck Rogers and Tigerman. Each 8-inch tall figure includes 2 sets of hands and features 22 points of articulation.
Zica Toys’ Buck Rogers 1:9 Scale Action Figures look damn good. Each figure also has 22 points of articulation. All of the details are perfect as is the retro style. Where were these when I was a kid? At least I can buy them now.
Here is a special treat for Star Trek fans. You might remember the movie Free Enterprise from 1999. The film was a comedy focused on a couple of geeks with William Shatner himself as…William Shatner. Well, now they are launching a new pilot based on the film. Check it out on Kickstarter.
One of the rewards for backing the project are these prototype figures from the original movie. Bomber Bill and Beatbox Bill. Awesome. I wish that Shatner had done more movies like this.
