Doctor Who: 12th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

At last we can own the 12th Doctor’s sonic screwdriver. I have to say that this is my favorite sonic in years. I liked 11’s but it just always seemed too bulky and busy. Whereas 10’s was way too plain. This one is just right.

It will be released in mid June, but you can pre-order it now. This replica features static, flashing & chase light modes as well as four sound FX. It lights up blue and green and those lights rotate like the on screen version. I just love the color they choose too. I’ll be getting one of these for sure. One day they will make one that actually opens doors.

The Batmobile has undergone many changes over the years, but one of the coolest modern versions is the Batmobile from Batman: Arkham Knight. This Batmobile Polystone Diorama by Prime 1 Studio captures the vehicle in all it’s glory. This 1:10 scale polystone diorama even features an LED light-up function to make it completely awesome. Is this not one of the most beautiful cars you have ever seen?

Royal Canadian Mint Star Trek Coins

The Royal Canadian Mint has announced a new range of Star Trek coins and they are being released over the next several months. It is yet another celebration of the 50th anniversary. They certainly offer a lot of cool designs. Some of them are very drool-worthy.

The coolest is probably the Starfleet-delta shaped coin with the face value of $200, but since it is minted in solid gold, it will cost you a lot more. You can check out our friends over at The Trek Collective for more info on all of these.

Skull Wars – Star Wars Skull Models

We have tons of Star Wars collectibles that we can buy, but if you like the weirder stuff as I do, these Star Wars skull models are a great addition to your own collection. They come from 3DKtoys and these parody skulls based on characters from the franchise are pretty damn cool. You can get them by backing this project on Kickstarter.

You can collect all 15 designs. A single skull is $15, three skulls are $55, and a full set is $250. I don’t know about you, but I need these in my life. You could display them on a sand-filled Tatooine diorama.

Alien Derelict Ship Statue

This Alien Derelict Ship Statue is a most have for fans of the Alien movies! You probably thought that this ship would never be available, but here it is in all it’s glory. This detailed model captures the organic nature of the Derelict ship and it looks like they got all of the details just right. It comes with a base designed to replicate the rocky surface of LV-426 and it measures about 21-inches long. It is limited to 500 pieces worldwide.

I’ve seen a lot of lovely Star Trek drinkware over the years, but I have to admit, this Star Trek Legacy Crystal Decanter Set is one of the most beautiful. You get four crystal glasses featuring crew members from the original series and a decanter that features the Enterprise herself. You’ll want to fill that decanter with some aged Romulan Ale. The images, along with those gold trim accents make this set look amazing. It comes in a nice presentation box too, so this is perfect for gift giving.

This is the ultimate Ellen Ripley figure right here. Hot Toys has revealed this 1/6th scale Ellen Ripley figure and it is pretty damn impressive. Is that the real Sigourney Weaver? You almost believe it. Naturally, she comes with Jonesy the cat.

This epic figure is available for preorder right now and is expected to ship later this year, or early next year. Check out all the images and be blown away.

Alien 3 Dog Alien ArtFX+ Statue

This ARTFX+ release is based on the Alien dog Xenomorph first seen in Alien 3! They are also called Runners and this statue is a terrifyingly hideous re-creation in 1:10 scale. This is the perfect nightmare creature to add to your collection. He is crouching low, creeping forward on a specially designed base, and even has limited posability in the tail. Alien fans are going to love this one.

Star Trek Stamps From Canada Post

This is the year for Star Trek stamps all around the world as everyone is celebrating the 50th anniversary. Now Canada Post has unveiled nine new Star Trek postage stamps, available now. They have been issued in several formats, which you can check out below. Everyone will find something to love in this offering. Casual collectors and hardcore stamp collectors both have many choices.

These stamps are my favorites so far,out of all of the new stamps that have become available. The presentation and design is amazing. Now we wonder who else is coming to launch new Trek stamps. Not that we are complaining. We just don’t mail that many letters.
