Doctor Who Coloring Book

Doctor Who Coloring Book
Doctor Who now has his own coloring book, courtesy of Penguin publishing house. This coloring book is perfect for fans young and old. Anyone who is a kid at heart is going to love this book. The pages feature designs and images of many fan favorites. All of the coolest villains are here and it seems like it has a lot of surprises in store for fans.

The initial pages spell out “Doctor Who,” with one letter on each page with the coloring design inside the letter borders. It looks like they did an awesome job with this one. It makes me want to color in the lines again and I haven’t done that since I was a kid.

Star Wars Death Star Salt and Pepper Shakers

Star Wars Death Star Salt and Pepper Shakers
That’s no moon. It’s a cool set of Star Wars Death Star Salt and Pepper Shakers. Give those mashed potatoes the Alderaan treatment and blast them with some seasoning. The Death Star is here to help you season all of your meals. This set is made of high quality ceramic and together they look just like the Empire’s powerful space station. They measure about 4-inches in diameter. Show those rebel scum what real flavor is.

Excellent LEGO Han And Leia

Excellent LEGO Han And Leia
We’ve seen our share of LEGO creations, including LEGO Star Wars characters, but Luc Byard’s Han Solo and Princess Leia are pretty darn adorable for a pair of blockheads. The level of detail that he was able to get is really impressive. Even their guns are awesome. He plans on making more, so we will have to stay tuned and see if they are as cute as this pair.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Stamps

Star Trek Deep Space Nine Stamps
We just got news about some new US Star Trek postage stamps and now we are learning that both Palau and Guyana have just released sets of Deep Space Nine stamp designs for those regions. The Palau stamps all focus on the ships of DS9. A set of six features various ships from the series, arranged on the sheet as if they were all flying around the station. They also have a single panoramic format stamp featuring the USS Defiant, that was released separately. Those regions are so lucky. These are really cool and a bit more thought out than what we are getting in the US. They are super colorful and jump off the sheets.

The stamps in Guyana focus on the characters. Their panoramic stamp features Jadzia Dax and Benjamin Sisko, while they also offer a set of six individual character stamps. Maybe a friend in the area will mail me some.

Never-Before-Seen Back to the Future Poster

Never-Before-Seen Back to the Future Poster
We all know the iconic poster for Back To The Future that shows Marty and Doc with the Delorean, but there was another poster that you may not know about that was almost used instead. This unused poster concept recently came to light after a former employee at Lonsdale Advertising in England found it in their collection.

Now it is headed to auction. This is an awesome poster, but I’m glad they went with the other one. The retro 50s element of the first movie would have been the focus here. It works, but it is not nearly as dramatic.

Grey Felt Dalek Purse

Grey Felt Dalek Purse
Attention Doctor Who fans who are looking for a new purse. This is it. Why wear just any old purse when you can wear a Dalek? This cool figural Dalek purse won’t try to exterminate everyone you come into contact with, but it will look amazing, no matter where you find yourself in time and space. No one else will have a purse quite like it.

It has room enough to carry all of your things and is made with quality construction. This is a purse that you will want to use forever and display.

USPS 50th Anniversary Star Trek Stamps For 2016

USPS 50th Anniversary Star Trek Stamps For 2016
As part of next year’s celebrations honoring the 50th anniversary of the original Star Trek, the United States Postal Service will be offering four Star Trek themed postage stamps.

In 2016 the USPS will offer a set of four special stamps from the Final Frontier. Some of you might remember the first Star Trek postage stamp, worth 33 cents, which was released in September of 1999 for the USPS’s “Celebrate the Century” initiative. It will be nice to have some Star Trek stamps to stick on the corners of our envelopes once again. These new ones look pretty awesome. If you still use stamps, you’ll want to get some of these.

Star Wars AT-AT Bookshelf

Star Wars AT-AT Bookshelf
You really can’t go wrong with a 3 foot tall AT-AT bookshelf. It’s the perfect place for your Star Wars books, DVDs and action figures. I would love to have this displayed in my house. Even if you don’t use it for storage, it is just awesome to have an AT-AT bookshelf.

Do you think this was the Empire’s attempt at a bookmobile? I mean this thing would hold, what, about a trillion books? Probably not. But that would be soooo cool.

Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Candle

Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Candle
This detailed candle replica of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has a tasty marshmallow scent that you will enjoy and don’t worry, he won’t rampage through your city or even your house. He will be too busy making your room smell nice as he slowly burns down. He’s wearing his classic sailor outfit.

Sometimes you can’t help it… it just pops in there when you try to think of the most harmless thing. That’s when Mr. Stay Puft arrives. Only this time he’s harmless. Adorable in fact. I’m pretty sure nothing could go wrong. Just don’t think about him being like a hundred feet tall.

Alien And Predator LEGO Portraits

Alien And Predator LEGO Portraits
These LEGO portraits of Xenomorphs and Predators are fun yet terrifying. Also awesome. They capture each creature perfectly using only LEGO bricks. These 3D portraits were created by New Zealand-based LEGO enthusiast Grantmasters. Some of you may recognize the Alien portrait, which was inspired by the original cover for the Alien: Weyland-Yutani Report Collectors’ Edition book.

I would hang these on my wall, but I’m not sure they would stay. They are just too scary despite being made of LEGO.
