Death Star Candle – That’s No Moon, It’s Mood Lighting

Death Star Candle - That's No Moon, It's Mood Lighting
Sure, you could set a romantic mood for you and your significant other with some ordinary candles, but if she is a Star Wars fan, you’ll want something cooler. Like this Death Star candle. It is fully operational and ready to set a geeky mood that will destroy her heart like Alderaan. In a good way.

I know, it looks like a small bomb that you would light the fuse on and throw, but trust me, it is a candle. It is the ultimate in Star Wars lighting for candlelit dinners or just relaxing on your own.

Photographer Recreates War Scenes With Action Figures

Photographer Recreates War Scenes With Action Figures
The Galactic Warfighters series is something that everyone should see. Matthew Callahan inserts Star Wars figures into realistic combat photography. This is some pretty amazing and powerful work and now a short film sheds some light into the process.

This film was produced by Joseph DiGIrolamo, who interviews Callahan and shows us how he creates these stunning images. Matthew uses Sideshow Collectible figures for these shots and they are so real looking that they will blow you away.

Caresto Makes A Batmobile Out Of A Lamborghini

Caresto Makes A Batmobile Out Of A Lamborghini
This real life Batmobile or “arkham car” was built by Caresto for team galag as part of the 2016 gumball 3000 rally. It is based on blueprints from the ‘arkham knight’ video game, and I have to say, it looks frakkin amazing in real life. Unlike the video game version, this car was redesigned and manufactured so that it can actually be driven and be fully functional. Make sure you check out the video below.

Red Skirts Web Comic

Red Skirts Web Comic
I recently discovered a fun new Star Trek web comic, so I had to share it. It is called Red Skirts and it is a fun and wild ride. The art is pretty awesome too. I won’t give away anything. I’ll just tell you to go and check it out because it is just plain fun. I am hooked.

The “Red Skirts” is a designation given to GGC Security Unit 3-80 of the GGC Heavy Cruiser Audacity.

Hit up the Facebook page too.
