The trend of making coloring books for adults keeps going full steam. And while I have not colored in one of these books since grade school, I guess I can see the appeal. After all, they are releasing some really cool coloring books based on great properties from my childhood. Like this cool Alien Coloring Book. Most of us enjoy the classic Scifi movie Silent Running. If you don’t, what’s wrong with you? It’s a great film. It had some cool visual effects for the time too. And now here is the film’s Valley Forge spaceship recreated in LEGO by artist Louie Tommo. He also created LEGO versions of astronaut Freeman Lowell and his robots Huey, Louie and Dewey. Man, I really wish this was an official set, but I’m just glad that it exists so I can stare at it and drool.

Marvel has unveiled a 13-foot tall bronze statue of Captain America at San Diego Comic-Con. After, it will leave for Steve Rogers’ hometown of Brooklyn, New York. The statue was designed by Comicave Studios and immortalizes the First Avenger! It really looks stunning. That is a statue worthy of Captain America. This statue will even be worked into the comic book series.
