We are all still waiting for the latest season of Rick and Morty, but at least we have this crossover short in the meantime. Rick and Morty crossover into Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise, where we get to see that Rick’s drinking and drugging is really paying off. This cross-promotion with Alien: Covenant is just awesome. Of course, anything with Rick Sanchez is awesome. Just the way it is.

While fans are waiting for Star Trek Discovery to hit the airwaves, we have something that looks just as awesome in it’s own right. Seth MacFarlane’s Star Trek spoof, The Orville. Fox just released the first trailer for the show. It’s very Galaxy Quest. The Captain and first officer are a divorced couple, which should add an interesting dynamic. I love the humor that I’m seeing so far. Who knows, this may even turn out to be a better show than Star Trek: Discovery. All we really know about that show is that it seems to have problem after problem and so far, a failure to launch.

The poster release was last week, and now we have the full Blade Runner 2049 trailer. This one gives us a better look at the film than the previous teasers, showing off how visually rich this film is. It does feel like Blade Runner. I can’t help feeling that it also feels like something different as well. It has me intrigued to see where they take this story. It isn’t quite what I expected.
An Alien Covenant Prologue has hit and it gives us a glimpse at what happened to Dr. Elizabeth Shaw and the android David after the events of Prometheus after they head into space on an abandoned Engineer, searching for the home planet of the Engineers. This short is so good, I’m wondering if it will be in the movie. I’d love to see more of their journey.
Alien: Covenant hits in Theaters on May 19th.
Here it is! The trailer that we have all been waiting for. The first teaser trailer for Star Wars The Last Jedi. There is a lot to take in here, but… Could Luke really be talking about ending the Jedi order? Plus we have space battles (Looks more like a blockade), some pod-racer type ships skimming across a planet’s surface and kicking up red dust, Rey presumably training under Luke and more. Are you excited for this movie yet?
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to open on December 15, 2017.
20th Century Fox released a new trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes. This is the third installment in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise that began back in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Caesar is battling the humans and fighting for freedom. This war will be for the planet. It will hit theaters on July 14th, 2017.
Valerian looks like the best thing since The Fifth Element. If this trailer is anything to go by, it may even be one of Luc Besson’s best films.

This new Spider-Man Homecoming trailer gives us more time with Michael Keaton’s Vulture and it also has a lot of references to the Marvel cinematic universe. It makes it clearer than ever that Tony Stark plays a big role in Peter Parker’s story. Also, this trailer seems to give away a ton of the movie’s big moments. You’ll see. Major spoilers here, even for a trailer. Despite that, I still can’t wait for this movie.
These new Spider-Man Homecoming posters surfaced online over the weekend. I love these. They are so colorful and vibrant and totally capture the spirit of Spidey! Spidey is chilling in New York, hanging off the side of a highway sign and hanging from a building. They are just gorgeous.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Well, that was an intense and unexpectedly awesome Justice League trailer. This looks like one hell of a movie. Before I was lukewarm about this movie, but this trailer has sold me. Even if it ends up having problems, it really looks like an intense and fun movie. There are so many cool moments in this trailer. Aquaman riding with Batman in the Batmobile for instance. You don’t see that everyday. No Superman in this trailer of course. It’s too early for them to give that to us. Justice League will hit theaters on November 17th.
