Check out Lady Jaded as Slave Leia! She does a great job. I totally buy that she is being held prisoner by Jabba The Hutt and that as soon as she has the opportunity, she is going to choke that fat slug with her own chains. Yes, Slave Leia cosplay has been done a million times, but it is still fun, so I had to include this one.
The Martians are really invading people! We have proof. Sort of. This face is actually the work of makeup artist Maria Malone. It is a terrifyingly real Mars Attacks Martian brought to life. You can see it in action in the video below.
Just a warning though. Prepare to be terrified. At least it doesn’t carry around a ray gun and say ak ak ak!
Stay warm and stylish on your away team mission with these new Star Trek Cardigans from Modcloth. They are only $60. each. Right now you can choose from Command Gold and Teal. Maybe they will offer these in Security red too in the future.
Because sometimes it is cool when you beam out of your door and you want a sweater. These will probably sell out fast so don’t wait. Make it so!
By now you’ve all seen the trailer for the new Supergirl TV show, maybe even the first episode which recently showed up online. So I ask you, does The Melbourne Supergirl have what it takes to be the next Woman of Steel? You’ll get only a resounding yes from me. She makes a perfect Supergirl!
This cosplay is awesome, but the photography(By Euan’s cosplay photos) is just as good. It’s so bright and colorful that it reminds me of the Christopher Reeves era of Superman movies.
Jessienoochies Cosplay looks great in green. Here she is as the sexy and badass assassin Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy. She completely owns it and wins our hearts.
She nailed everything from the look, to the costume, to that mischievous smile. I want to see this Gamora in her own solo movie.
Anthony Misiano aka Harley’s Joker is the Joker in this awesome cosplay. Joker’s Harley is Harley Quinn. Together they recreate Alex Ross’s famous poster titled “Tango With Evil”.
It is perfection. Everything is reproduced in amazing detail. The costumes, lighting, the poses. I think they have actually become the demented duo in this moment. If you like this recreation, you can get 11×17 and 8×10 autographed posters from Mr. Misano’s Joker Emporium. I don’t think anyone could have done it better. They excel at being a crazy couple.
I’m still not quite sure what to think about TARS and CASE from the movie Interstellar. They were weird. Pretty cool, but weird. They did prove to be very versatile and they are certainly unique. You may not be aware, but they weren’t completely CGI. Sometime puppets were used in certain scenes. This gave cosplayer Iain Heath an excellent idea.
He made his own TARS costume and wore it to the Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle awhile back. I have to say, it looks amazing. It took him 3 months to build it, using wood and metal. The basic frame is simple and effective. There is also a camera and monitor inside, because naturally he needed to see where he was going, so he didn’t run over some poor soul. And yes those are LCD screens on the front. This is some extremely unique and quality cosplay.
Whether you are on shore leave on the planet Risa or just on Earth, this Star Trek Hawaiian Shirt is the perfect vacation shirt for you. It has an awesome 60s style retro print all over, which includes Kirk, Spock, Uhura and some aliens. The Enterprise is there too.
Make your next cosplay one to remember by wearing this Madame Vastra mask. This mask will help you to really capture the Silurian detective in all her glory. Of course you’ll have to supply your own Jenny for a partner and get a nice Victorian dress to go with it.
This mask is $350. from Etsy seller ExtremeKustoms. Try not to get into any fights with Sea Devils, but if you do make sure you get plenty of pictures. We would really like to see that.
