Martin Beck’s photo series titled We Can Be Heroes shows everyday people dressed up like superheroes doing everyday things. We see them doing everyday tasks like working on cars, smoking cigarettes, their hair in curlers and eating just to name a few.

“The subject matter are the folks who feel they didn’t quite make it at superhero school and are, like most of us, living their lives, doing their day-to-day chores, trying to live a happy life while providing for their loved ones.” This series highlights the real heroes.
