I don’t think there has ever been a cartoon quite like Adventure Time. It raises the bar for what an animated show can be with amazing art and amazing storylines. Kids and adults alike love this show. If you watch the show then you know that every episode begins with an awesome looking title card that sets the mood for the episode and gives you an idea of what it is about.

Now you can bring those title cards home and admire them as often as you like in this cool coffee table book titled Adventure Time: The Original Cartoon Title Cards. Volume 1 and volume 2 are out so far covering the first four seasons of the show.

Roberto Peraza doesn’t choose between the dark side and the light side, instead choosing the art side. Here he takes familiar Star wars portraits and mixes basic polygon shapes with background landscape images. The results are pretty stunning.

I have never seen anything like this done with Star Wars portraits. Gotta say, I love it. Darth Vader is especially awesome. Hopefully the artist will add more since he says that this series is “To be continued…”

Hit the second switch on the hand-sculpted and hand-painted base and 3 lightsabers glow blue, green and red. This is a weapon, I mean lamp, that any Star Wars fan would love. It measures 18-inches tall.

These Sci-Fi Ikea manuals are fun. They imagine what it would be like to- Well, maybe not to be able to walk into Ikea and buy this stuff, but what it would be like to have Ikea manuals for these movies.

The lightsaber is my favorite, although you have to love what they did with Jurassic Park too. They are all classics and this made my day. Also love Doc Brown slipping and hitting his head on the toilet.

It is one beautiful deck of cards. The images are printed on 310gsm, casino quality, linen cardstock and each card contains a black core layer so other players can’t see what you are holding. Naturally Jar-Jar is the joker. This is one of the prettiest playing card sets I have ever seen.

Fifth Element Stones Pillar Candle Holders
Instructables user antagonizer made these cool The Fifth Element Stones Pillar Candle Holders, recreating the element stones that were used in the weapon chamber in Egypt.

They are manufactured out of wood for durability. While they were making the props, they decided to turn them into functional pillar candle holders. The end result is beautiful, functional and geeky. If you are good with wood, this project shouldn’t be very hard.
