Are you dreaming of a far off destination? In need of a vacation to an exotic locale in a sci-fi realm? Well, these travel posters from KnerdKraft will fire up your imagination while celebrating some of your favorite geek locations.
Some of our favorites are below. Wanna take a trip to Tatooine? Hoth? Westeros? These posters are beautiful and are sure to make you feel like you have been there.
The Star Trek: Ships Of The Line Posters Book is sure to scratch your itch. You know the one I’m talking about. When you just need to lay your eyes on that sweet eye-candy that is Star trek vessels and admire all of their curves and flowy lines. This is the nerd version of a pin-up calendar for guys like me.
The Enterprise and most of the other ships are just so lovely and I have had a love affair with them all of my life. These posters are perfect for framing or just admiring in the book. It’s the kind of book that comes off my shelf regularly so I can fall in love all over again.
If you like your superheroes dark and gritty, you’ll love this portrait art created by artist Adnan Ali. These portraits include Deadpool, Rafael, Hulk, Spawn, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. I would not want to meet any of these characters in a dark alley.
I especially like Deadpool and Spawn. And the texture on that Turtle’s skin is just too real. Can you imagine a movie using this style of animation? That would be an amazing thing to behold.
These Borg Cats from RadMoonRising are simply Lo-Cute-us of Borg. The seller has four different prints available currently. They may just make you look at your cat a bit differently.
We are the Borg Cats. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is Mew-tile.
Frank Herbert probably had no idea in 1965 when he wrote Dune, that his masterpiece would go on to live forever in so many mediums. One medium that we have never seen Dune conquer yet is an animated movie. Artist Matt Rhodes shows us what they might be like.
Rhodes is the lead concept artist for the videogame Dragon Age: Inquisition. I wonder if he knows some people who can make an animated Dune happen. I’d love to see it.
Artist Miguel Camilo started this project in the Fall of 2012 and he never completely finished it. This was going to be a poster featuring all of these Transformers, but he has revisited the project now and turned them into a series of retro Trading cards.
I approve. I would have totally collected these when I was a kid. Heck, I would collect them now.
When I was a kid, collecting Star Wars cards was the best thing ever. The movies just came alive before your eyes with the images and captions and fun facts/image puzzle pieces on back. The Star Wars: The Original Topps Trading Card Series Book celebrates these vintage cards from Topps.
Topps first published the cards in 1977 and 1978. They are reprinted here for the first time, featuring all five sets of collectible cards and stickers. This deluxe compilation includes the fronts and backs of all 330 cards and 55 stickers/ There are also movie facts, story summaries, actor profiles, and puzzle cards featuring all your favorite characters and scenes from the first Star Wars movie.
It also has four bonus trading cards and an introduction and commentary by Gary Gerani, the original editor of the Star Wars Topps series. It is a must own for Star Wars fans who grew up with these cards.
Show everyone that you are a member of the Psi Corps when you wear this Babylon 5 Psi Corps Emblem Ring. This ring is crafted by hand and looks like the real deal.
Both norms and telepaths alike can wear it and show their love for both Babylon 5 and the Psi Corps. Bester would certainly approve.
Artist Ben Murphy from Cork, Ireland says that this is the first of three mini-projects that is part of his 4th Year Project. The idea is to create the concept art for “Logan’s Run” as if it was being rebooted for this generation of moviegoers. From what I can see on his page, he did an amazing job. Below is just a sample of some of the work that he did.
I really like the costuming of the main characters, the vehicles and the guns. He has a pretty cool vision for what this world would be. I’d love to see his vision in movie form. Even in animation.
These pieces of One Point Perspective art by Italy based Van Orton Design are really colorful and amazing. And very retro. There is so much to love about these.
I could honestly get lost in some of these for hours. Featured are everything from Knight Rider to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I would love these as prints, but at least we get to feast our eyes on them here.
