We are in awe of this cool LEGO ED-209 built by LEGO fan chumuhou. This is a very neat replica of ED-209 from Robocop. It is damn near perfect. I really wish that LEGO would release some sets like this. It is so unfair that we can’t buy one.

Recently, ArtStation had a competition with Industrial Light & Magic asking some of the world’s best artists to “imagine key moments, new vehicle designs, character and droid designs, and epic battles within the Star Wars universe”. Well, the winners have been announced, and the art is pretty amazing. Naturally, the best entries came from men and women who work on Hollywood movies and video games. Of course I have a soft spot for the original adventures. They are by far the best of any Star Trek. This poster is like watching all of the episodes at once.

This series from artist Butcher Billy is a mash-up of war photography and vintage comics. The images are striking and may well have come from some strange alternate history that none of us is aware off. This is an amazing collision of worlds. Very powerful, with many layers of meaning.

Artist Truck Torrence’s company 100% Soft makes kawaii pop art and has designed the official Star Wars and Marvel Studios emojis that you’ve seen around. Well, you can see his work in person, until September 17th. He has a solo exhibition happening right now at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles called “Mass Hysteria 2”. It features all new pop culture works including a 5-foot long Mad Max Fury Road piece that is just beyond adorable! The Star Wars piece is pretty awesome too. Check it out.

This is a special treat for Babylon 5 fans. Ryan Olsen’s latest build is none other than the EAS Agamemnon. She was one of the first Omega class starships to be built by Earthforce following the Earth-Minbari War and she is a real beauty of a ship. She’s pretty spectacular in LEGO form as well.
