Now this is a reboot that I can get behind. Star Wars featuring the same cute cat in every role. We will call it Star Paws and the universe will rejoice. Artist Derlaine illustrates Waffles the Cat as several Star Wars characters in this fun and furry illustration. If you absolutely love it, the image is available as a print from Derlaine’s storenvy shop. Remember, Waffles shot first!

Being a kid means that you can be any superhero you want. All you have to do is use your imagination. Then you can become anything you want. You may look the same to everyone else, but in your imagination, and in your heart you are a superhero. That is the power of childhood and this series from artist Jason Ratliff illustrates this perfectly. Children with their favorite superhero as a shadow. Superhero shadows. These images are a part of his series Super Shadows and Super Shadows 2. You can buy prints here.
Experience the true power and relaxation of the dark side with this cool Dark Side Armchair. At last you get to sit inside of Darth Vader’s helmet, in the comfort of your own home. From the front it just looks like a cool chair, but from the back you can see Vader’s helmet looking large and imposing. It will only cost you a measly $11,999.99.
Decorate your kid’s bedroom right with these cool Superhero Emblems For Kids Bedrooms. HeroesCreations has all kinds of superheroes to choose from. You and your child’s favorite heroes are all here. Sure, these look great in your kid’s room, but you can also hang them in your geek/game room too so you can enjoy them. We are all just big kids anyway.
This Star Trek Klingon Clock is a great clock for any warrior. There is much honor in a clock like this. And if today is a good day to die, you can choose the time. It would look right at home on the bridge of a Klingon Bird of Prey or in your home. Get one for yourself or give one as a gift to another warrior who has proven himself in battle.
This one really cracked me up. This Star Wars Hoth Pendulum Clock has a swinging Luke Skywalker as the pendulum. It recreates the scene in the Wampa monster’s cave with Luke swinging back and forth, never quite getting that lightsaber to escape. It captures the scene perfectly and suspends it in time.
Eric Pautz created these lovely Star Wars Abstractions styleframes for a short animation that was never finished. It was meant to be an abstract story set in the Star Wars universe. These frames are beautiful. I would have loved to see the animation. You can see more of them on his Behance page.
Most heroes are all about health and exercise and clean living, but it turns out that even superheroes can succumb to excesses and the aging process. When they do it isn’t pretty. Italian cartoonist Donald Soffritti imagines heroes who lived a life of excess and are now older. This art is just awesome, even if their aging is not.
Star Wars are fun and all, but what if Luke and Vader peacefully resolved their differences? That’s the premise behind this very cool Star Wars fan film called Star Peacefully Resolved Conflicts from Márk Juhász. It’s only about 2 minutes long and is worth the time.
