Father and Son Build Giant Transformers Statues From Trash
This creative and talented father and son team build giant Transformers statues out of trash. And they look awesome. You know, considering that they are made out of trash. Specifically scrapmetal. Check out the video.

In 2010, Chinese farmer Yu Zhilin and his son Yu Lingyun opened up their own metalworking shop in the country’s Hunan Province. Inspired by the futuristic robots from the movie “Transformers,” the pair began fashioning original statues from scrap metal. Their first design took about a month and a half to build, but they’ve since created an impressive array of statues, giving new life to discarded car parts along the way. It’s not just the success of their new business that makes this father-son duo happy; the craft itself has brought them closer together.

Russian artist Max Degtyarev specialises in some pretty cool cutaways and one of his latest works is none other than Adventure Time’s Tree Fort,shown here in some insane detail. You could look at this thing all day long and still find new cool things. Finn and Jake have some very cool digs, that’s for sure. I wouldn’t mind living in that tree house with them and having all kinds of cool adventures. Make sure that you take in all of the details here, because there is so much that you don’t see at first. Comic book cover art is awesome. They use a variety of styles, but have you ever seen comic book covers that are made from balloons? These awesome balloon sculptures as comic book covers were created by Phileas Flash. They take days to make and the pieces themselves fit into a 10 foot by 10-foot space. Then photoshop is used to add the letters which are also balloons. I love all of the detail that he gets with this unusual medium.

The Fifth Element Eclectic Method Remix
Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets comes out later this year, and it looks like it may be a classic along the same lines as The Fifth Element, which was a sci-fi thriller that is timeless and has become apart of pop culture. So much so that Eclectic Method has created a very cool remix using moments from the film. It is perfect. I love the use of the multi-pass in this cool video.
