The trend of making coloring books for adults keeps going full steam. And while I have not colored in one of these books since grade school, I guess I can see the appeal. After all, they are releasing some really cool coloring books based on great properties from my childhood. Like this cool Alien Coloring Book. It is 80 pages of coloring fun from Titan Books and it will be releasing in May of 2017. The release is timed with the release of Alien: Covenant.
Andreas Bazylewski used two separate photos to create this awesome Centurion Stormtrooper. One was of a Clone Trooper body, the other of the Roman Stormtrooper helmet. He put the images together and then into an old Roman painting. The end result is this cool Centurion Stormtrooper, which is going to make sense one day when the Empire figures out time travel.
Freelance 3D artist Yinxuan Dezarmenien created this fun and colorful Harley Quinn fan art and this is exactly how I would want Harley to look in an animated Suicide Squad show or movie. He got all of the details just right and she looks amazing. If they ever do make a Suicide Squad animation, I hope she looks like this. So beautiful and playful.
I’m sorry doc, I don’t see butterflies or flowers, I just see Yoda. He has both hands out, using the Force. Does that mean I’m crazy? Or does it just mean I’ve seen Star Wars way too many times?
Cris Alex is pretty talented at body painting. Here he paints himself to look just like a T-800 from The Terminator! He does an amazing job and the end result reminds me of how the T-800 looks in comic books. You can watch the entire transformation in the video below. It’sjust stunning how talented some people are at painting. And painting yourself is even harder than painting on canvas.

Fritz Lang’s Metropolis endures to this day. I’m kind of surprised that they haven’t remade it recently since they remake everything else. I thought you guys would appreciate this fan-made poster from Dan Schlitzkus. The art deco design looks great in those bright pop colors.
Artist Ron Cummings created these fun designs for the 2016 election. These are a much better choice than the two politicians vying to be President in the real world. If you vote Ackbar, you can be sure that he’ll tell you about any traps, however, we’ve always been told to let the Wookie win. So this is a hard call.
