While we all wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 to arrive, check out this Adventure Time and Guardians of the Galaxy Mash-Up art in the meantime. It was created by Patrick Burke, who is a 3D Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. He did this piece for an art show, where the theme was combining Adventure Time and a favorite sci-fi film. I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a cartoon. The land of Ooo would never be the same.

I know we are all waiting for Deadpool 2, but in the meantime, check out these awesome pieces of concept art created for Deadpool. They were done by conceptual artist Andrew Leung very early on. This would be before Tim Miller was on board to direct even. These images do a great job of visually bringing an early draft of the script to life early on. There’s the freeway battle scene, Deadpool lying on a bed bleeding, Deadpool and his blind roommate and more. I’m really impressed by how close the movie scenes are to much of this art. It looks like they really helped to lock in the tone and the look of the film. These pieces make me want to watch the movie all over again, for like the tenth time.
This infinity scarf has all of the best Sci-Fi collected on one cool scarf. So it will not only keep you warm, but it also has cool images from Doctor Who, Firefly, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. It’s like they read my mind and designed the scarf of my dreams. How often do you see the Enterprise, Serenity and the TARDIS together?
This is an amazing replica of Jyn Erso’s Stormtrooper doll from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It is an 11″ tall polymer clay figure that is strung together with thick waxed cotton cord. It looks completely authentic, just like the one in Star Wars Rogue One. This is one of those neat toys that are fun just to display somewhere in your house, so you can occasionally look at it and pick it up and play with it. Just makes you smile.
How is this for the start of the new year? Hot Toys has released a photo giving us a preview of their Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 action figure lineup! They all look pretty stunning, but as usual Baby Groot steals the show. Here we see Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. It should be noted that these are just prototypes that were made for the figures, but even so, you can tell they are going to be great. I can’t wait for the movie to arrive. These figures just make me even more excited about it.
I love vintage sci-fi T-Shirt art. There’s nothing like it in the world. So I had to share just some of the amazing retro sci-fi T-shirts that Zuul’s Stash sells. They have all kinds of T-shirts for well known and obscure movies, video games Tv shows and more. These designs really take me back and make me wish I had all of my old T-shirts from when I was a kid.
We’re really digging these Chibi Bobblehead Oil Paintings from PaperHologram. They are adorable paintings of popular characters like Spider-Man, Predator, a Xenomorph, Iron Man and more. They are a lot of fun and the perfect decor for your man cave or geek getaway room. They have a lot of nice little details, like the lipstick on Iron Man’s helmet. Either that is from Pepper or he has some explaining to do.
I have always had a thing for the Klingon Bird of Prey. It is just such a beautifully designed ship from a time before the folks at Star Trek kind of gave up on good ship design. So I had to share this amazing LEGO creation from Kevin J. Walter. It took 25,000 LEGO pieces to create. The amount of detail that he created here is insane. I love these builds, but they also make me a bit sad, because LEGO should be offering sets like this so nerds like me can build them. On the other hand, it would probably cost a fortune so maybe it is for the best. Kevin had to create his version from a blueprint that he made himself.
