If DC Comics Published Marvel Characters in the 1960s
Check out these fun comic book covers from artist Kerry Callen (part 1 and part 2) that imagine what it would have been like if DC Comics published Marvel characters in the 1960s. These are some weird covers, but I love them. There is an overweight Spider-Man, Captain America eating his shield, Iron Fist and Power Man, and some fun versions of Ghost Rider too. A great “What If…” art series.

These 30th Anniversary Star Trek: The Next Generation Posters Have An All-Star Cast

These 30th Anniversary Star Trek The Next Generation Posters Have An All-Star Cast
Last year, Star Trek turned 50, not that they did anything special to celebrate. Well, this September, The Next Generation will turn 30. And to celebrate this milestone, artist Dusty Abell has created two very cool posters packed full of ships, characters, and more. Can you even spot all of the characters in these posters? It might take you all day. The two posters are divided into good guys and villains. So one has the Enterprise crew and the other has Romulans, Borg, and Klingons, plus many other bad guys. These are a lot of fun. This limited edition poster set can be found at Roddenberry.com. I’ll be busy looking at these for the rest of the day.

Wonder Woman Statue Of Liberty

Wonder Woman Statue Of Liberty
This Wonder Woman Statue Of Liberty statue is the perfect symbol of truth, justice and the American way. Not that there’s anything wrong with the current statue of liberty. Diana has just proven herself in battle, that’s all. I could get behind them raising a statue like this to compliment Lady liberty. Until that happens, at least we can have this one on our desks. It comes in this bronze version and also comes in a cool green version.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Recreated Using An Apple II

Star Wars The Last Jedi Trailer Recreated Using An Apple II
The Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer is mysterious and intense. How can you possibly make it better? By going retro of course. New York City-based artist Wahyu Ichwandardi recreated the first teaser trailer shot for shot using a 33-year-old Apple II computer and an old KoalaPad+ on which he drew every frame. He saved the collection of 288 images onto 48 individual floppy disks, then transferred them over to a more modern setup, putting the pictures together, and setting them to the trailer’s audio track. The result of all this hard work is very cool. Enjoy.
